Chapter 94 - Thoughts

Eleanor's P.O.V

I pulled the covers over my snoring daughter as I got up from the bed and switched off the lamp.

The moonlight fell on her pretty face lightning it up. I couldn't help but smile as I watched her sleep peacefully, her breaths steady and rhythmic. I tiptoed out of her room and headed to mine.

As I made my way through the quiet hallways, my thoughts drifted back to the day's events. Specifically the fight with Keira and Daniel supporting me.

It had surprised me, to say the least. I never expected him to stand up for me, especially since him and Keira had been friends like forever. However, I was just a mate who was bestowed by Moon Goddess and kept causing restlessness and trouble. The mate who just hated him in his head for hiding the truth that could have broken us apart even before we began.

But there something in his eyes. A spark. That seemed be the love he held for me, no matter the hell I put him through.

And, that spark just seemed impossible to be put out.
