Chapter 91 - Whispers in the hallway

Daniel's P.O.V

We walked to the carriage as I carried Danielle lovingly in my arms while walking beside an Eleanor who was so lost in her thoughts ever since she met the Baron couple.

"Dad! The white horse is so pretty!" Danielle jumped in my arms at the sight of the white horse attached to the wedding carriage. As entire of Eleanor's body vibrated in shock as she was pulled out of her thoughts by Danielle's excited voice.

"Yes, it is, angel," I smiled at Danielle's enthusiasm, thankful for the distraction from the heavy atmosphere around me and Eleanor.

We approached the carriage as the coachman opened the door for us. I gently placed Danielle inside, making sure she was comfortable before taking my seat beside her.

Eleanor sat across from us, her eyes still glued to the Baron couple as they bid their farewells to the other guests before getting into their carriage to join the parade.
