Darun continued to do his best to train according to his father's expectations for him, while doing his best to avoid Geran who seemed to always find a way to bump into him.

While he did all he could to avoid him like a chronic plague.

Fera also made her presence known, always taking strolls around the palace in a particularly cheerful mood with a permanent smile on her face.

Even though she didn’t take her sword training as Hurai took hers, as she continued to attend all the lessons that were being given by Geran, who saw no harm in continuing to teach her, a little amused to see the tenacity with which she wanted to learn.

Hurai continued with her sword lessons for the following two days while also taking the time out to overlook the new servants that were newly hired into her quarters, especially Xena, her friend who she ensured was placed in her quarters.

The moment she was done with morning training, Hurai hurried back to her room, glad to see Xena already waiting there for her wi

“I just want to chop him into pieces,” Lozia thought, digging her fork over and over into the plate in front of her which she hadn’t touched, while she continued to focus her attention mostly on Allen. Her attention was still far gone when she suddenly heard a voice whisper directly into her ears.“If you’re going to challenge him to a duel, you should do it already. I can’t help but pity your poor food and plate,” Lozia turned to look in the direction of the voice, not surprised to see Falorn, one of the few knight's she was actually close to, who so happened to be Prince Darun’s personal knight.“Haaa…you saw that,”“Of course, I’m not blind and neither are the knights around you. What did he do to you anyways? It's unlike you to react this way?”“He’s an ass,” “Yeah, but you and I already knew that,” Falorn shrugged as he leaned closer to Lozia with his eyes on Allen mirroring the same disgusted look Lozia had on her face.“It's a pity that he’s also one of the best when it comes

His body was soaked in sweat, something he was delighted about since there was no way Geran would touch him.But unknown to him, the image Geran saw was completely different as the sweat all over Darun’s body made the white training uniform he wore stick closer to his skin, making it transparent enough for Geran to see Darun’s skin, which made his body look tempting enough for him to want to touch.“Don’t come any closer, you can do whatever you like on the other side of the hall,” Darun said, noting Geran’s roaming gaze on his body.Annoyed, Darun simply went ahead to turn his back on Geran, holding his sword in his own hand as he continued to swing it against the wooden dummy in front of him, while ensuring that the sword didn’t in any way get stuck. He continued this for a while without paying any attention to Geran who he assumed had either ignored him or left the room after not hearing a single sound from him only to suddenly hear the shrill sound of an iron weapon being released

Darun didn’t even look at him before he turned around and began walking in the direction of where the showers were, after dropping his sword on one of the weapons tables by the side of the wall.Geran watched Darun for a while, watching him walk away with a somewhat downcast aura around him until he could no longer take it.“I used my ability. It wasn’t because you couldn’t beat me. It's called “King” if I believe that I can beat you then I will but if at any point I doubt myself then I fail,”Darun was beyond shocked to hear Geran not only tell him about his power but say how it worked. So shocked that he couldn’t help but freeze a little in his steps on his way to the bathroom to take a look in Geran’s direction.“It wouldn’t benefit me in any way if you hate me more than you already do,” Geran replied with a shrug but in a serious tone that said that all he had said was completely true.“Is sex really all you think about?” Darun couldn’t help but mutter under his breath in a way tha

Kingdom of ElfinaKal stood behind a tree at the border of the council hall belonging to the witches with Talon right behind him.He would have liked to bring more people with him, but he was also aware that the more people knew what his mission was the more dangerous it would be.For Kal it wouldn’t even be remotely surprising for him to find out that his caring father, king Locan had released some sort of information about his movements, considering that it would be easier to kill two birds with a single stone. The only useful magic artifact he had taken from the royal store were two gold rings whose ability was to render the user invisible. He had given one to Talon and worn the other on the index finger of his right hand, which was the main reason they had been able to get so close to the Council hall of the Kingdom of Elfina, which could be likened to a royal palace in other kingdoms.Still, Kal couldn’t help but worry about what they would do if they were to come across high-rank

“We still have about thirty more minutes. It should be eno…” but Talon didn’t get to finish the sentence when they suddenly heard loud growling around them with Talon was a little surprised to see large hefty dogs with huge bodies that got all the way to his knees growling at them.“An illusion?” He asked Kal, conscious of the fact that if they were truly real, how come they hadn’t noticed the dog’s presence until they had been surrounded on all sides. In the deep darkness around them, Kal simply shook his head, confident that Talon could easily see him.“Their growling sounds pretty real. Run upstairs I’ll take care of them,” Kal ordered bringing out his sheathed sword without giving Talon another glance, his entire attention completely on the menacing dogs around him.Which was good since the moment he did, the first dog ferociously attacked, growling so loudly that Kal was instantly sure that he barely had seconds before the people outside and those inside began waking up one after

“Relax…I’m a friend,” he continued to speak and Kal merely tightened the hold he had on his sword. Many unforeseen things have been happening since he began the mission, something he wasn’t comfortable with at all. From what he could tell, seeing as how easily the person in front of him had gotten close to them without either he or Talon being able to tell, it was obvious that he was a high-ranking wizard that was proficient in the use of magic.“Then state your business…” Kal responded in a largely unfriendly tone that made it obvious that whosoever was, he wasn't welcome there.Holding his sword in his hand, Kal was so wary of him that he was confident that if he so much as watched him make any unnecessary movements he would cut him down.Talon also had the same idea as he stood beside Kal, gripping his own sword, his eyes not leaving the stranger in front of them even for a second.“Shouldn’t I be the one asking such a question…wait…wait…” the stranger quickly said, raising both hi

At that moment, all he thought about was getting back in time for the engagement and looking for a way or an excuse to ensure that it didn't hold.Using an aphrodisiac on Fera bore no fruits, the only other person he could think of using it on was Geran, but Geran was even more sneaky to get and trap than their father.“I need to figure out his weakness,” Kal thought in his mind as he ran as quickly as he could into the city of Elfina itself hoping to quietly pass through and escape, knowing that by morning the security might be too much for the both of them to handle, because apart from their magic equipment they knew absolutely nothing about magic.“What happened here?” High council Yoret asked the moment she appeared downstairs, after being awoken by the loud noise of the explosion of the lower part of the building which was exceedingly miraculous since even after the lower part seemed to have been smashed into bits, the upper part looked completely unaffected.Around her were four

The moment Kal and Talon were done with all Kal planned to do in the Blodinek kingdom, they ran as quickly as they could, back to the big palace where both the royal families of both the Lunera Kingdom and of the Blodinek Kingdom lived.Kal was intent on still making it in time for the ceremony even if he didn’t arrive early enough. But first, he needed to meet up with his father, King Locan, and give him details regarding his mission, considering the fact that he was sure that his father would already have heard about the bloody trail he left behind in the kingdom. The moment he entered his study after being allowed in by the guards in front he could already see his father fuming in anger, even as he was decked in his official royal red robes.“Did you hear? Have you heard?” he yelled at the top of his voice, not at all hiding the great anger that boiled on inside of him.“Those bastards somehow found a way to attack the nobles and went ahead to kill a lot of them,” Kal heard his fath

Just because he could no longer transform in the meantime, didn't mean he was completely helpless, even though being in wolf form was more advantageous."Talking about killing me right to my face," Horansi fiercely glared at them all as he spoke."Then you should all continue the conversation in the afterlife,"The moment Horansi was done talking and no longer saw any reason to continue, he gripped his sword as hard as he could and he attacked.Without hesitating or showing a trace of fear on his face. He picked up one of the two swords on the ground and Instantly moved toward Horansi as he attacked.Hurai was still pissed off at Allen's actions of hurting Fera, but she was also thankful for his presence. Without him, both of them would surely have been dead.As quickly as she could, Hurai dressed up Fera's wounds by merely wrapping a piece of cloth around her wounds, which was the best she could do for her at that moment."We can't allow Allen to kill the King," Fera whispered into Hu

Yes, her wolf was almost as big as her father's own but he also had way more experience than her in fighting in wolf form.Hurai also didn't just stay at the side watching the fight, the moment she saw Horansi attack, and the fact that Fera was immediately in danger, she instantly ran to help.Still, Hurai's presence didn't make much of a difference as he easily overpowered the two of them, biting and clawing at them both until their furs were covered in blood. He would have surely continued if he didn't suddenly notice that something was off, which was why he suddenly backed off.Fera’s wolf was a mess. Hurai was also slightly injured, but Fera got the brunt of it.Horansi couldn't outright communicate in his wolf form using words but when he growled at them as loudly as he could with a vicious sneer, Fera knew he already noticed what she had used on him."Wolf's bane," Horansi thought, getting more furious with each second that passed, as he felt his connection to his wolf slightly w

Yes, he was there to kill them but that didn't mean that he had the intention of killing them instantly since he realized that there was no benefit in keeping them alive, but hearing what Fera called him, he saw red and had the urge to end her life that very moment."You're a coward…" Fera instantly continued completely ignoring the expression of rage on Horsnsi's face to say all she could before he could close enough to unleash the full extent of the murderous aura he was already releasing around him."You call yourself king and you need to bring this many knights along just to capture two women…" Fera yelled loud enough for the knights to hear even as Hurai who stood beside her with Mayory still on her back, began to wonder what she was up to."The only meaning is that you're scared that you're not strong enough to do it yourself," She had only finished talking when she watched King Horansi jump off his horse the next second with an expression of rage on his face wine that instantly

  • The Vampire Prince and the Werewolf Princess   Losing An arm

Kal expression instantly changed to a largely pissed-off one, as he finally realized what the burning spin he felt in his shoulder meant.Losing his arm wasn't a big deal and he felt that as long as he drank enough blood, he would be able to regrow it, only to find out that because of Locan's actions he would never be able to.Still deeply angered in his heart, but with a mildly calm expression on his face, Kal slowly walked forward coming to a stop right in front of Locan, gripping Locan's sword in his hand."Don't worry, I'm sure…" Locan began talking, but even before he was halfway done, Kal moved his hand, slashing his head cleanly off his neck in one big movement, watching him plop heavily the ground as his blood littered the floor. The silence in the room was palpable. Geran would have made one of his many jokes, but he knew that the atmosphere wasn't right for it, especially since the king just died, and the new king, was truly going to be a one-armed one.Geran could only sigh

  • The Vampire Prince and the Werewolf Princess   A Fight to the Death

"Clang…" their swords met again and Kal couldn't help but grit his teeth in pain and alarm, shocked and trying to comprehend where King Locsn got the strength he had suddenly used on him."You look surprised," King Locan said with a big smirk on his face as he instantly attacked Kal with the same strength as the one he used before, not surprised to see Kal barely defend it as his sword arm got a deep dash for his incompetence.Watching on the sidelines, even Geran was shocked since he couldn't understand what was suddenly happening to Kal, who suddenly seemed much weaker than King Locan compared to before."Swish…swish…slash," Blood splintered out of the gaping hole in Kal's left arm where it was supposed to be, with King Locan making a show of wiping his face that had been coated with elven blood on his sword with relish."I'm going to enjoy watching you die," Locan said to Kal with a big smile on his face, digging his hands into his shirt and bringing out the necklace underneath it,

At that point, he couldn't help it, as he opened his mouth to call out Kal's name without even bothering to defend himself. If he was going to die, then they might as well do it together, German thought. But he had only just opened his mouth to call out when he suddenly felt King Locan come to a stop in front of him, watching as a red substance slowly dripped down his head as he struggled to wipe it off."WH…WHAT'S THIS?" King Locan yelled in anger shocked at the stickiness of whatever was on his face, only managing to wipe off enough of the burning substance from his face in a way that wouldn't obstruct his vision as he quickly looked around to see his attacker, confident that Geran who he had been on the verge of killing couldn't have been the one by attacking him in such a manner."WHO IS IT?" He yelled at the top of his voice prepared to transform at any moment to finish with the new attacker and Geran who stood in front of him with a smug expression on his face."COME OUT!" He yel

  • The Vampire Prince and the Werewolf Princess   Geran’s attack

A few seconds of silence passed by, when King Locan finally noticed Geran's strange manner of not responding to any of what he said."What's…." He opened his mouth to speak, while lifting his head up from what he had been staring at on the table when he suddenly saw a dagger flying straight at him, aimed at his head."That counts as an attack right," Geran thought to himself, even as he watched King Locan fly into a rage the next moment. He pushed his table aside, and grabbed his sword beside him with lightning speed as he glared heavily at Geran with eyes that showed their intention to kill."You attacked me…" King Locan stated in a calm and reserved manner, one Geran was sure was simply a mask for the boiling anger he currently felt as he slid his sword out of its sheathe.Geran said nothing and simply counted down the seconds to when Kal was supposed to appear, even as he gripped his sword tightly in his arm, while giving King Locan his entire attention, knowing that a simple mistak

"I don't believe it. It's impossible to get. They rarely show themselves. It would take years before…." "I already got some…" Kal replied chuckling a little at the exaggerated expression on Geran'd face when he spoke."How? How much of your soul did you have to sell to get it? You know it has to belong to at least a high elf right and they hide like their lives depend on it," Geran said to Kal, even as he continued to stare at him with a disbelieving expression on his face."Show me…""Really?" Kal asked with both his eyebrows raised, clearly surprised at Geran's requests especially since the elven blood was deadly to vampires even on sight."At least tell me how you got it," Geran said with a clearly dissatisfied expression on his face."Let's just say that the kingdom of Elfina has a slight Elven trouble," Kal instantly replied, before making it known that he no longer wanted to discuss it, as he went ahead to move the topic of discussion somewhere else."We need to do it as soon as
