Chapter 101- Merrick POV
The moment Talvin asked for Lawler to step up and be our father, my heart broke. I know that Lawler is going to be an amazing stepfather in every way that he possibly can be. Deep down, my heart already hurts knowing that Talvin has a different father than Fulton and myself. Not because he is of different blood, but because we do not have that fortunate gift of knowing that the horrible man who raised us is not our father. We are stuck with the scum of the earth as a father, something that can not be undone. I wish things could be different.

Chapter 102- Fulton POV I just called Lawler Dad. The easiest choice I have ever had to make in my life. He has watched over my brothers and me for much longer than I had realized. Chapter 103- Elnora POV As I walk with Lawler and Hildi down the stairs to the living room, I cannot help but think about what has just happened.
