Esmeray peered at the Vampire King who was now back on his feet. He stood at her door drenched in rain, dressed in a white shirt and black pants hanging dangerously low on his waist, creating a puddle on the floor. Esmeray's eyes scanned the colors on his white shirt and hands, even the rain wasn't able to wash that away.

He stood there, his face was pale, his skin damped from the rain. A hundred emotions were swirling in his dark forest green orbs that locked with hers. There were so many emotions swirling in his gaze but above them, all was hunger, a hunger so intense that even in her tipsy state it made her heartbeat crazy.

After coming out of whatever trance he was under as Vladimir stalked closer he seemed like a predator eyeing its prey. Esmeray was somehow aware she should run yet she couldn't move a muscle.
