BACK IN ANIKA'S NEW OFFICE.

"...Lily i told you, i am not into the guy. He is handsome, but I don't think he is the type of person i want to date or marry." Anika who was still on the phone with her friend said. "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! All the girls in the Romance books i have read always say that they don't love the handsome cold CEO, or they don't like how the alpha male is treating them. But eventually they all fall Inlove with him." Lily said to Anika. "Those love are not real, and they don't...." Anika wanted to explain something to lily, but the strong vibrating sound coming from a phone in her desk, interrupted her.

"Where is that phone ringing from?" Anika ask herself as she try to trace with the sound. "Hello! Hello! Anika are you still there?" Lily ask Anika after she suddenly stopped talking. "Sorry, but i am attending to something, can you hold a little?" Anika quickly ask lily and then continue looking for the phone. "Sure!" She replied her. "...but I think it will be better if i call you later " Lily said to Anika. "...Okay! Bestie we will talk later." Anika responded and lily hang up the call.

"There you are." Anika said after rooting out the office phone from inside some documents. "Why did they put you there?" She jokily said to herself and then picked the neverending call.

They were two office phones in her office.

"Hello! Mr Carlos office, how can i help you." Anika who already knew what to say, confidently said as she answered the call. "Come to my office now.

We have a business meeting to attend to in another organization." Carlos cold manly voice came out of the phone after Anika said her line. "Mr....i mean Carlos is that you?" Anika asked. "Who do you think it is?" Carlos said to her. "Sorry i thought....." Anika wanted to say something to him, but he hang-up the phone before Anika could complete what she was about to say. "Jezz...what a boss." Anika said after realizing that Carlos just cut her call against her. "I better go to he's office, then." Anika said and then storm out of the office with some documents on her arms.

"Please don't screw up!" Anika repeatedly said to herself till she got to Carlos office door. "Okay! Am ready." She took a deep breath, and was about to nock on the Carlos' office door, but he unexpectedly opened the door and walk out of his office.

"Get out of the way." Carlos rudely said to Anika after opening the door. "I...am sorry about that." Anika quietly said and move out of the way. "Come on we have an important meeting to attend!" Carlos shouted to Anika after walking some steps and realize she wasn't keeping up with him. "Oh! Please can you brief me about the meeting we are attending?" Anika ask Carol as she tries to walk faster. "I will brief you about the meeting in my car." Carlos said to her as he arrive at the floor's elevator and press it.

"Sure!" Anika answered, and Carlos gave her a strange stare. "W... what?" Anika who was getting uncomfortable ask him. "Your dress fits you." Carlos said with a smile on his face, and at that moment the elevator doors opened. "Thank you..." Anika replied him. "...i guess." She quietly said, and then both her and Carlos walk into the elevator.

They both stayed in the elevator without saying a single one to each other. Even Anika was surprise, and wondered why he didn't try one his shenanigans on her again.

"Beep!" The elevator sound break the quiet moment between the two. "Come!" Carlos strictly said to Anika as he walk out of the elevator. "Jezz... I know i have to follow you. I am not a dog you control." Anika mumble to herself, but Carlos heard her.

"Okay!" Carlos who heard what she just mumble to herself answered her, and she stood still in shock. "How did....?" She ask herself. "Please hurry." Carlos said to her as he walk towards the company entrance. "Okay! Carlos." Anika answered and then look around to see that the entire staff at the lobby of the company were staring at her in a devilish way.

"What's up with this people?" Anika said and quickly walk to the entrance of the door.

"That human!" Some of the female staff mumble among themselves as Anika walk out of the company.

"Where...where did he go?" Anika ask herself after coming out the company. "Did he left without me?" Anika asked as she look at some of the cars parked at the company front lot if Carlos was in any of them.

"Enter!" Carlos voiced came out of a black limo which slowly drive to the center of the company gate. "... Didn't you hear me?!" Carlos ask Anika again as she stand and stare at him. "...oh sorry." Anika answered him and slowly walk into the back limo, with red interior. "I see you fancy red and black things." Anika try to start a conversation with Carlos as she enters into his limo. "Hmm!" Carlos who wasn't in the mood for talking mumbled.

"Don't want to talk huh?" Anika said i her mind. "....fine by me." She said and began to press her phone.

"...so Carlos i see you have gotten another hum.... I mean catch.... sorry i mean employee." Alex, the driver and close companion to Carlos said to him as she drop down the glass separating the driver from the passager. "Concentrate on your driving and stop acting silly!" Carlos shouted at him.

"Traffic is a bit too much today, i have time to talk." Alex said. "...so what's the name of your beautiful employee? She is really beautiful." Alex compliment Anika. "...She is not just my employee, she is my personal assistant and you better stay away from here." Carlos warn Alex.

"...okay! Jezz!" Alex shouted. "....so what's your name?" Alex ask Anika. "It's Anika." Anika said. "Okay! Nice to meet you Anika, i am Alex. The only friend your boss has, sadly." Alex jokily said and immediately turn the glass back up so that Carlos wouldn't punch him for what he just said.

"...why you." Carlos grumbled. "....so he don't have much friends." Anika whisper to myself and quickly took a glance at Carlos. "You're one strange guy." Anika said to herself, and then turn her focus to some documents she thought will be needed in the meeting they are attending.

"What perfection!" Carlos said to himself as she gazed at Anika's beautiful face as she look through the documents. "Sir..." Anika said and, theb raise up her head only to see Carlos staring at her, and both of their eyes awkwardly met with each other even though Carlos wore dark shades.

"Wha... what?" Carlos who was caught off guard struggles to talk. "I took all the recent documents your former secretary left, so are you going to use one of them for your meeting?" Anika ask Carol while still staring at him. "No! We ain't using any of them." Carlos firmly said and then turn his face away from her. "Okay! But what company's meeting are we attending?" Anika ask. "When we get there, you will find out." Carlos coldly said, and at that moment his limo stopped.
