A lie

Carlos wasn't afraid of giving them an answer, he was only afraid that they might find out about Anika from him or Elena if he gives or do not give them any answer.

He is in a tight spot.

"Why isn't he saying anything?" Sisila ask one of the members.

"..i don't know, maybe he is thinking of what to say." He answered, and turn to Carlos.

"He don't look like he is thinking though." Lily said, and wave her hands to see if Carlos eyes will follow.

"...stop! Doing that. He is still alive!" Elena shouted at her and she stopped immediately.

"... Carlooos! We all are waiting for an answer from you." Elena said to him like she is singing.

Her voice gave him what to say.

"...i fought with the werewolves because he took something that belongs to be, and then he sent two of his kind to attack me in my office. Luckily, no mortal saw us otherwise stories about our existence will be all over their news." Carlos revealed.
