Confused

Alone in the darkness, Xylah tossed and turned on her bed, unable to sleep. She felt extremely uncomfortable and laying down didn't help matters.

She sat up, adjusted her pillow and laid back down again. She even used the pillow to cover her ears and willed herself to sleep but her body just wouldn't listen to her.

She finally gave up and witu a sigh, threw the pillow to the side and laid on her back, staring up at nothing in particular.

Xylah's mind was filled with so many different thoughts, all jumbled together making it hard for her to know what was real and what was not.

The events of the afternoon was still fresh in her mind. She remembered how everyone in the pack had accused her of causing a rift between their Alpha and Beta. They seemed very angry as they pointed her out to be the sole cause as she deviously made a plan to make both men fall for her.

To Xylah, they were probably spewing nonsense. It wasn't true at all.
