Olivia's pov

Pain echoed through my skull as I slowly regained consciousness. The pounding in my head was merciless, making it difficult to focus on my surroundings. Gritting my teeth, I forced my eyes open, only to see a blur of shapes and colours. I blinked furiously, willing my vision to clear, and gradually, the world began to come into focus.

Where am I? I thought, panic surging through me as I tried to piece together the fragmented memories of our capture.

I struggled to move, my limbs feeling like lead. As I sat up, the cold, hard floor beneath me sent shivers up my spine. My heart raced, each beat amplifying the throbbing in my head. I rubbed my temples and took a slow, deep breath to steady myself.

"Olivia?" a voice called out, breaking through the haze.

I turned my head towards the sound and saw a figure approaching: a woman with flowing silver hair and striking grey eyes. It took me a moment, but recognition lit up in her eyes. It was the woman from the snow forest.

"You’re making a mistake," I hissed, but Nicholas merely smirked."Do as you are told, Olivia, and perhaps your daughter will remain safe," he said as the door closed behind me. The guards led me through dimly lit halls until we reached a room. They shoved me inside and locked the door with a resounding click."Stay put," one of them jeered from the other side of the door. The room smelled musty, centuries of neglect evident in the crumbling walls.
