67. Ambiguous Arguments

Waking up in the embrace of his strong arms, felt comfortable and warm. His masculine scent was very calming. His attitude is so mature and firm. I squirmed slowly and his hands moved to embrace my stomach. "Good morning darling," his hoarse voice whispered making me shiver and he kissed my ear repeatedly.

"Morning, Alpha Sam," I said, turning to look at him and stroking his smooth white face a little rough on the jaw because it was covered in fine hairs. He wasn't like usual like he had something on his mind and maybe about how I could recover quickly.

"I'm sorry I didn't respond quickly to help you. I wasn't able to heal you like he was. Maybe you were destined to be together and complete each other, but I want to have you forever," he said with a regretful look.

Maybe he felt useless because he was late in helping me or because he couldn't heal me. So far, he has been considered the greatest and most feared, but all that doesn't make him anything special to me.
