Chapter 36

Aria

"How did he even end up there?!" I screamed at Mesta as we made our way to the car.

It was nine and I had just woken up. Surprisingly I woke up in my room. I recall getting on a flight last night, getting home and taking a long bath. Afterwards I allowed myself to compensate for my lack of sleep for god knows how long.

Mesta had budged into my room lecturing me about how I wasn't worthy of being Mecael's wife. I groaned at her presence.

She explained that Mecael was in the hospital. He had fallen into a coma. My brain failed to register the other details as I threw a trench coat around me.

Mesta complained about how she was not driving me to the hospital in a silk nightgown. I rolled my eyes and made my way outside.

Who said she had to drive me.

She followed me and with a few long strides she was next to me.

She got in the driver's seat and I got in the next one. She pulled out. For the first time,her driving speed did not bother me.
