Aria

I felt like there were strings in my heart pulling them at all directions. The tug of war going on kept me up all night.

Every time I closed my eyes the image of Alex and his stupid erection came to mind. That was pure torture to my brain,my heart and my conscience.

Not wanting to see the picture,I kept my eyes wide open till they hurt. I blinked and continued.

The clock flashed twelve.

I flipped to lie on my belly. Fuck my life because it's only midnight. I scrolled through my phone to see a text from my stupid manager. But the text itself was not stupid because it read that I was not going to work in the morning.

My shift has been shifted to night. I stuff my face onto the pillow and scream into it.

Staying up has never been my thing. Now I have to stay awake to serve people who did not give two hoots about what your life was like. Whether you woke up with a smile or to a grieving news. All they care about is themselves.
