Allysa Chloe Hernandez

The next day

Today is Saturday and I woke up early because I have to go to school. My community service will start at 6:00 to 10:00 am. I don't want to do this because I know to myself that I am innocent but my Mom has agreed and I can't say no to her. I also don't want to embarrass her with our dean yesterday and I will only get scolded even more. I know I'm a bit stubborn but I'm letting it go and I depend on the situation I'm in.

I prepared the bag that I will bring. I brought an extra t-shirt, towel and jogging pants. I also carried a tumbler with cold water and a sandwich while leaving the house. When I saw Manong Jose, He drove me to my university.

When I arrived at the university, there were few people and also the security guard who was guarding the gate of our university.

Before entering I asked our security guard.

"Am I the only one scheduled to do community service today?"

"For the regular students, yes, you are the only one, but a lot of scholars and volunteers are cleaning today. Who is your class instructor?"

He asked me.

"Ma'am Lea."

I answered him.

"Oh, you're the one she's talking about. Oh, she reminded me to give it to you."

And then he handed me the plastic bags. 

"Thank you."

When I got the plastic bags, they were full of gardening tools. I thought I was just going to sweep the garden, but why is there something like this? I would never have been in this kind of work. Haysst looks like it will test me.

When I got to the assigned garden written on my time card, I started doing what I had to do. The first thing I did was to pull out small weeds in the garden. It took me more than an hour because the garden assigned to me was a large one. After that I pulled out the grass, and I swept the dry leaves around. 

And the last thing I did was water the plants. While I was holding the hose that was used to water the plants, I felt dizzy, maybe it was because of the heat of the weather, and my head hurt a bit this morning when I woke up. I feel like I'm going to lose my balance when a pair of hands help me. 

"Miss, are you okay?"

He asked, worriedly. He's the man I saw cleaning the other garden. 

"I'm just a little dizzy. Thanks."

I answered him because I really feel like I'm going to fall.

"I'll bring you to the university’s clinic. You're getting pale."

He added.

"Yes please."

I asked him. Because I don't have a choice because I feel like I'm going to fall.

Then he escorted me to the clinic. Before we got to the clinic, my eyelid gave out. And I don't remember what happened next.

I just woke up while lying in the hospital bed at our school's clinic. The man who helped me earlier was watching me. When he noticed that I was awake, he came to me, then he went out for a while and came back with a nurse. After the nurse examined me, she said I was fine and could go home at twelve o'clock tonight. She also said that I just need to rest.

When the nurse left, he came to me and talked to me while sitting on the chair next to my bed.

"How are you feeling? I brought your things here earlier. There you go"

He pointed to the bag on the chair.

"I'm fine. Thank you."

I smile at him while I answer. 

"I'm Kent Liam by the way."

He extended his hand at the same time.

"Allysa Chloe Hernandez."

I smiled at him and reached for his hand. His hands are very soft.

After a while, I was surprised when the curtain covering my room opened and Manang Helen entered.

"Hey, what happened to you kid?"

She asked worriedly as she approached me.

"I just lost consciousness earlier but I'm fine Manag Helen. Don't worry."

I answered her.

"Why are you still doing community service when you're not supposed to be involved in such activities? You worried your Mom and Dad. You know they just sent me here first but they said they'll follow right away."

"One more thing it is necessary, Manang and besides Mom agrees to that idea, so I have no other choice but to do that."

"Is that so? Wait, who's with you hija?"

Pointing at the man sitting on the side of my bed.

"He’s Kent Liam, Manang Helen he is the one who helped me earlier."

"Ah, is that so? Thank you dear. It's really good that you helped her. Thank you."

She came close to Liam and hugged him.

"You're welcome."

He answered. 

After a while, Kent Liam said goodbye because he said he still had a lot of work to finish. Manang Helen thanked him again and took him outside the clinic.

When he left Manang Helen glanced at me with a smile.

"Why are you smiling Manang Helen?"

I asked this question while sitting on the bed.

"It's because your savior Allysa is so cute, besides, he's still young. You're perfect."

She teasingly said to me while smiling.

"Manang Helen."

I scolded her.

Honestly, Kent Liam is so cute that’s why I couldn't take my eyes off him. Fortunately, he didn't even realize that I was looking at him.

Those beady eyes framed with thick lashes are really cute for me. Even though he wears glasses I can see how beautiful his eyes are. As if saying let me look at him.

I handed my bag to Manang Helen and took my cell phone. I'm really curious about him. I tried to search for him on f******k but nothing came up.

I also tried on I*******m and luckily I found his account. It's a private one. I tapped the follow button to send a follow request, well I want to be friends with him. Her i*******m icon is so cute. That's probably his graduation photo when he was a child. After three minutes he accepted and followed me back. I smiled. So he’s active on the i*. I saw his photos, only a few pictures were posted on his account. In all of his pictures, his eyes are what really grabs my attention. His eyes are really expressive.
