“What happened here?!”

Terry and Samantha burst in, but it was already too late. Ruan was gone. The room was in a mess, and Kaliyah was a statue on where she stood.

She was dazed as she stared at the terrace where Ruan escaped to.

“T-The alpha went on rampage!” one of the guards who tried to stop him answered, pointing at the broken things inside.

Stammering, another added, “he’s a beast! He turned to a beast! Monster!”

“WHO SAID HE’S A MONSTER?!” Kaliyah approached the man who called Ruan a monster, kicking him hard on his stomach that the man groaned in pain. He clutched his abdomen that she hit, bowing to her in apology.

But Kaliyah was irrevocably mad!

She hated that someone which Ruan cared for and protected would be someone who will also call him a monster.

“Kaliyah!” Terry called her, but she ignored him, leaving the room through the terrace too.
