62: THEY DRIVE HER INSANE

In his office room, Ruan was thinking deeply. He appeared to be in a big trouble that kept trying to determine which way to go to avoid that trouble.

But he sighed for the fifth time.

“Call the doctor here,” he ordered to the guards stationed outside his office. “No. I know how stubborn that old man is. Drag him here if he resists.”

“Yes alpha!”

Several minutes later, the door was opened after a knock.

“Alpha, he’s here.”

The doctor followed; his frown was still there as he entered.

“I’m glad I wasn’t dragged in your palace again,” he said, dropping his medicine kit on the table.

“I did suggest that,” Ruan replied that earn a glare form the middle-aged man. Yet, he just ignored it.

“Where’s my patient. I thought I was checking on her today so I bought my things,” he said, looking around but spotting no presence of Kaliyah.

Ruan sighed in distress. “Indeed, she is your patient. But I am the one suffering here, doctor.”
