Chapter 40: Pink, Why Pink?

Following Jean down the hallway I take in my surroundings. This place isn’t nearly as formal as his fathers was, I felt suffocated there. Instead this place is rather casual and comfortable.
Jean stops in front of a door “This will be your room. The adjoining room next to yours is Jeong’s. Across the hall is Nathan’s as well as Gerald’s and my room.” as she smiles at me then proceeds to open the door.
Who’s Nathan? I shrug it off and walk into the room after Jean. It’s like a blast in the face, everything is pink. I internally gag trying to hide my horror.
“I had the room redone for you.” as she walked towards the windows pulling back the drapes.
I cringe trying to force a smile “Oh, you shouldn’t have.”
Jean just smiles “It’s no problem, I’m glad I could help.”

Rae’s POVWaking to the morning light filling the room all I could feel was content. Not only do I feel well rested, but I got to see Mary in my dreams. Jeong’s POV I had a difficult time falling asleep last night which lead me to my study to do some research. I need to asses her powers and figure out what they are. I’ve never in my life seen or heard anyone capable of casting a multi colored power. With enough training sure someone can cast multiple types of powers but they are always distinctly separate. Hers seem to be combined some how. Cradling my head in my hands as I stare down at the open book on my desk. There is nothing, nothing at all.
