Shelley had some of Renee's rebelliousness in her. She was uncooperative and rebuked Stefan. "Mr. Hunt, please be clear. I'm working as Ms. Everheart's assistant, not yours. Why should I listen to you?"

"Why can't I get through? The signal in the building is excellent. Is Ms. Everheart's phone out of battery?" Shelley found it a little odd. Ms. Everheart would keep her phone charged if she was still in the office. Why would her phone be out of battery? Was she off work and on her way back home?
