“He's... he's dead?”

Margaret was shocked. She struggled to process the sudden news.

How could a person who had everything like him die just like that?!

“Yes, he's dead. If I'm not wrong, he probably died because he tried to save me.”

Renee spoke with difficulty, her expression heavy.

Although Francine believed there was foul play in Stefan's death, Renee still felt responsible.

If he didn't hurt his leg trying to save her, his life would not be in danger, and the people who wished to cause him harm would not have an opportunity to take advantage of.
