I'm still sure Briar is still alive and has been hiding out in wait for her revenge on her, now that she gave Jovon her sight, she'll regret it later. Renee is really dumb like Stefan, the ones who are said to be smart never really are in these stories. She should have hired a bodyguard being blind.
