Forcefully his personal maid

Petal's Pov

"Don't touch her until I say so!." Mr Ryker snapped, his eyes turning pitch black as he used his alpha tone to impose obedience on Zara.

More reason I hate him, always acting feisty.

"Untie her!." Mr Ryker ordered as his eye color snapped back to normal.

"Excuse me? Am I still alive? Am I invincible here?. I said, I love this place and would love to spend more time here, I mean....completing my punishment." I stated wide eyed.

"Seems like you love this place, huh?." He asked with a slight smirk on his face.

"Exactly, now you get it." I answered wondering what he was up to with that smirk on his face.

"Well then, you'd compete your punishment but this time, it would be as the king ordered, no food nor water." He stated with a tone of finality.

Heck!!! My food!! No way.

"What!!! There's no way that's happening! Are you that cruel and wicked? Are you really a beast? Do you have any humanity or sympathy in you?." I stated wondering how I would be able to survive in this dungeon without my food.

I'mma just lay down and die.

Before I could process what was going on, I felt claws on my neck threatening to choke the life out of me.

" How dare you call me cruel and wicked? How dare you call me a beast?." He growled, his eyes had turned pitch black as I could feel the anger emanating from him.

"Please.....don't hurt me, ple.... please I beg of you." I whimpered, wondering what I had said to warrant this. I wondered if this was how I was going to die without even taking my noon meal.

"Give me one reason why I shouldn't tear you to pieces like the slave you are?." He demanded in a despotic tone with anger visible in his voice.

He was right after all I'm a slave... A slave who has nothing to offer. All my life has been about slavery though, but hearing him call me a slave hit me in different directions.

"I'm your mate!!" I reminded in low tones but what happened next surprised me.

His claws on my neck got deeper as blood gushed out of it, he then slammed my body on the wall.

I dropped like a lifeless deer as my body hurt in different places.

Still in a daze as my visions got blurry, I heard retreating footsteps but that didn't refute Zara from dragging my hair as she dragged me out of the dungeon.

I felt weak, my whole body ached like hell, I didn't even have the strength to resist anymore so I just accepted everything the way they are.

I was taken to the maids quarter to continue my job with the others.

"Take her to the laundry room, she is to wash up all dirty clothes there before it's noon time." I heard Zara order someone in an authoritative tone.

"Ewww, she's so stinking and disgusting." I heard one of the maids that I'm sure was just like me say and they all giggled in mockery.

"Wow, you and I know that we're both alike. just take a look at the pot calling a kettle black and when I say pot, I don't mean a tea pot. Seems like you've lost your sense of reasoning." I retorted.

I wasn't going to let them insult me like they were any better than I am. This time, I was going to give them back to back, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth and words for words.

"What, are you saying that you think I'm stupid?." She asked fuming in anger.

"Of course not, I could never. I'm just saying that, I just think you're extremely unlucky when it comes to thinking." I countered grinning, enjoying the fact that she was looking pissed off.

"And that's coming from someone who prefers staying in the dungeon than the real world!." One of the maids spat out in disgust and they all burst out laughing.

"Yes, I prefer staying in the dungeon because at least the walls, blood and bones are at peace with you, but take a look at the world you prefer to live in, a world where you're not even at peace with your own soul." I replied and they all gaped at me with mouth wide open.

Though I was weak but it definitely didn't stop my mouth from running. Y'all can't beat me to words... especially when I have a sassy wolf in me called Pearl.

Just as I was about saying something, the man I recognized as Star-Silver came barging into the maids quarters with two guards trailing him behind.

"Pital!" He called and I looked around to know if there was a new maid called pital, cause that's definitely not me.

*No response*

"PITAL!!!!!!" He yelled again and still yet, no response.

"I said, who is Pital!?." He growled and all the maids directed their gazes towards me.

I scrutinized their looks and gave him a scrutinizing look too.

The maids kept gawking at me so I was forced to speak.

"What? Who is Pital? Is there any new maid in the palace? Pital???? Pitalll." I screamed wondering why the "Pital" wasn't answering.

"He's asking for Pital, dummy." One of the maids finally spake rolling her eyes at me.

"Between you and I, who is a dummy? Is there any one named Pital in this palace?. By the way he's calling Pital and not asking who Pital is. It doesn't even make sense." I said and rolled my eyes in disgust, all I wanted was to get out of here and wash my body up, cause I knew that I was stinking. The stench of blood hung all over me like a mist.

"Aren't you Pital? The girl that was brought out from the dungeon this morning?." He questioned with a sarcastic and disgusting look on his face.

"Umm, firstly my name isn't Pital, it's Petal, Pe..Pe., it's P, E, T, A, L not P, I, T, A, L. But yes, I'm the girl that was brought out of the dungeon." I said making him realize that you can't just spoil my name like that. Rubbish!!!

I wasn't giving much time to talk as Star silver signaled to the guards and they dragged me out of the maid's quarter forcefully.

I started trembling because I knew where they are taking me to.

I was sent into Mr. Ryker's chamber. I saw his bare back as he watched the out skirt of the city.

"Everyone disperse!!! Zara stay back." He ordered.

I was about moving out with the others but....

"Stand right there!!!" He growled.

I shivered in fear as I watched every other person in the room leave, leaving just I and Zara behind.

"Zara, I want you to bath Petal."
