We made it to Silver creek territory and got checked in to our Hotel. We decided to wait a day before doing anything. We are around 20 miles from the packhouse in the business district. We plan on shopping and eating and relaxing before going back tomorrow.
Since I haven’t been this far out before I am kind of looking forward to it. Walker hasn’t been anywhere out of town so he is like a hyperactive person after eating way to many sweets.
Sophia has never been in a pack territory before so she is a bit jumpy even though Silver creek is a very good pack to humans. I notice there are a lot walking around. We decided to walk and enjoy the scenery since everything was pretty close together.
My four protectors have been walking in a semicircle around us just in case. I don’t think anyone here would know who I am but I am still afraid that someone will notice me and tell Zayden and Grey. I don’t want to
“There is an attack.” She said as she went behind the counter. “Would you all like a coffee? Something to eat while we wait?”“You don’t have to do that ma’am.” I tell her putting Walker down.“Nonsense.” She said waving her hand at me. “I love cooking. That’s why I opened this bakery. I live above this place so I have the stuff to make actual food and not just sweets.”I chuckle. “Ok. Do we know how long we will be here?”“The sirens will go off once everything is clear. The longest they have went off before was a full day.”“Wow. Glad they have the system though. At least it helps keep people safe.” Nora said in awe.“Yes dear. They were put in effect around four or five years ago when rogues kept attacking our pack.” She said as she started pouring coffee in to cups. She grabbed a juice box out from the fridge and
“What’s in it? It smells good.” Blake asked as he took the ladle from Mable and scooped some in to a bowl for Nora then himself.“Carrots, cabbage, canned tomatoes, hotdogs, a few other things and seasonings.” She said taking a bite. “After my grandfather passes away gran would always make this for us once a week to always remember him by since that was his ‘diet’ food.” She chuckled.“I don’t see how it’s healthy.” Bailey whispered as she took a bite then moaned.“I don’t see it either dear but he swore by it. I cook it because I like it. Want some bread?” Mable asked the table. We all nodded and she handed out the bread. I look at Walker and smile. He is so engrossed in what he is watching that he isn’t even paying attention to what he is eating as puts the empty spoon in his mouth.“Baby you have to put food on the spoon before taking a bi
ZaydenThese rogue attacks are getting ridiculous again. When Grey and I got back we got told there was four attacks in the span of thirty-six hours. We have no idea what they want or why they are attacking us. Anytime we have a rogue captured they end up dying within a few hours. We can’t figure out how or why it’s happening. It’s becoming frustrating. After this attack tonight something seems really fishy. I’m going to have to call and see if other packs in the area are getting attacked also. I have a feeling they are but I need to see if they have any information for me about these rogues. As I enter the packhouse I notice it’s busy. People all over the place trying to straighten things back up and helping the injured, getting people out of the bunkers and back home. I see Dev and walk over to him as he directs a group of teenagers to help with the children find their parents. Thankfully no one got seriously hurt this time.“Dev.” I say as I get close enough to him. His head whips
“Said anything yet?” I asked him looking back at the guy. He doesn’t look like a rogue but he has no scent so we can’t be sure.“No but we were also waiting on you. I know you would have more fun.” He said smirking at me. I chuckle.“Let’s get to it.” I said taking a few steps to the door and turning the handle opening the door. The rogues head tipped up growling.“Shut up. If anyone has the right to be pissed off it’s me and my pack.” I told him taking the chair against the wall and grabbing it putting it down around five feet in front of him. I walk around the chair and sit down looking at him.“I won’t tell you shit.” He spits out.“Probably not but we have our ways to get you to talk.” I tell him cocking my head to the side.“Whatever you thinking of doing I have had worse.” He says between growls. “You won’t brea
“You can stop this by telling me about the girl you are after.” I tell him as I leave him panting on the chair and walk back over the cabinet dropping the whip on the floor. I look over the tools again. I stop and pull out a pair of pliers and a knife.I know we are wolves and have claws but I prefer not to put my hands or claws in to our “guest” mouth or other openings unless I’m tearing out their hearts or slitting their throats. My hand tightens around the instruments as I walk back over to the rogue. I sit in the chair across from him. I put my elbows on my knees as I lean towards him a little bit.“Now tell me about this woman.” I demand pushing out my alpha aura. I know it doesn’t work on people who are not in my pack but you never know if he might have ties somewhere along the way.He is panting hard as I watch the flames turning purple as they heat up then blue as they cool down. The hotter the
I was the only daughter of the Alpha but treated like a slave. I got my wolf when I was 13 but after I changed my world came crashing down around me. It started off with them smacking me and it gradually became punching, throwing me into walls, using a silver whip on me or even just a silver chain. Then they moved me from my room into the basement. I could only come out to fix the food and clean the house. One time when I wasn’t cleaning fast enough, they threw me down two flights of stairs then started kicking me in the stomach causing 4 of my ribs to break and one of them to puncture my lung. They only called the doctor to fix the rib that had punctured my lung. Other than that, one time I never got the help I needed. I had to suffer in pain trying to do my duties and do them fast.It was mine and my twin brother’s 20th birthday and the first time he could drink alcohol since he was training to be Alpha. Everyone got smashed with him. No one paid at
I awoke to the sound of rain outside of the cave I was in. Sleeping in wolf form was nice. You don’t get as stiff as if you slept in your human form on a cave floor. When I got my eyes adjusted to the dim light coming in the cave entrance, got up and stretched my limbs. I wonder what time it is? I slowly creep to the entrance and take a small sniff of the air trying to see if anyone was out there. I don’t smell anything. Hopefully the rain will have washed my scent away from the search party.I go over and grab the bag I brought in my mouth and poke my head out of the cave to get a look around. I don’t see anyone so I slowly come out. I look around for good measure before taking off again. I have no idea where I am but please goddess help me find solace. I prayed to the moon goddess multiple times ever since last night. I hope she can hear my plea. After a few hours of running, I’m getting tired again. I look around to see if I can find water an
Unknown:“Alpha, we got a report of an unknown wolf on the southern border. It’s pretty fast and looks to be heading toward the west border.”“Evan, get Grey and Dev and meet me outside in ten minutes.” I told my Beta. Good thing I was already up for how early of a morning it is.“Yes sir!” He said bowing to me.What would a lone wolf be doing crossing our territory? Everyone knows where our land starts. Leaving right now we should be able to catch up with them by sun up as long as they actually took a rest tonight. I went to my closet and grabbed a small bag with a couple pairs of shorts in case I need to change to my form and headed down the stairs to go outside. Out on the lawn was my top three waiting on me.“What’s the plan Alpha?” asked Dev.“We are going to make it to the southern line and hope they actually take a rest tonight. I want to know why they
