I don’t know what happened. One minute I got her going over the edge and the next she screams then passes out. I pick her up and rush her to the infirmary while mind linking the doctor to be on standby because I’m headed that way with Everleigh.
Once I step in the doors the doctor has a bed waiting and tells me to put her on it and wheels her straight to a room. I pace back and forth outside the door. I don’t want to go in because I know I will just be in the way. An hour later the doctor comes out.
“What’s wrong with her?” I asked.
“Honestly, we don’t know. She seems physically fine. We are going to set her up with an EEG. That’s the only thing I didn’t check last time and she might have some type of brain damage. We are also going to do a cat scan to make sure there is no swelling.”

Everleigh Bright light invades my closed eyelids. I yawn and stretch before slowly opening my eyes.
