[Alyssa Pov]

I'm at work right now.

I honestly don't know what's the deal with Hayden but i can't get him out of my mind.

I mean he's good looking and all but i'm curious to know more about him like there's something that pull my interest towards him.

While i'm working,my phone ring.I answer it without looking at who's calling me,just so it could shut up.

"Hello?"

"Hey Alyss" i heard a familiar voice of my best friend,Kayla.

"Kay,why are you calling me right now?i'm at work"i sigh

"I wanted to ask you if you want to go to a party,a new neighbor of ours is having a party tonight"

"You could've told me after my work,Kay"I tell her with my scolding a child voice.

"I know i'm sorry but i'm excited i've heard that the other brother of our neighbors are fineee as hell,you don't want to miss the opportunity to get to know them don't you?"

"Well,you know my answer to that.If you're going then i'm going, i'm not going to leave you alone"

"YEAY!! i'll come at ur house to get ready at 8"

"Ok see you later.Bye Kay"

Well its not wrong to let loose sometimes right? Let's hope the party is fun at least.

While i'm sitting in my living room watching some random tv shows, i hear my doorbell ring and knocking on my door.The knocking sounds a little bit frantic and that does makes my heart jump with the sound of it.

I look at my camera from my home security app it's just Kayla.I sigh.One day i'll get a heart attack by this girl.

I'm being paranoid but who could blame me since i live here alone.I know how to fight of course but if there's weapons involve when i least expect it, i can't do much.

I'm walking to open the door while groaning because she won't stop knocking like my house is on fire.

"Kayla!why are you knocking my door like my house will run away from you or something!"I yell at her.

She smile sheepishly "Sorry..i was cold"

I sigh this girl always know my weaknesses.

"Come on in then,we'll make some hot chocolate before we get ready"

After finishing up with our hot chocolate that has a bunch of marshmallow,we get to my room.I'm searching for a dress to wear tonight at the party while Kayla brought her own dress.

I see a red dress i haven't worn yet since i haven't had any chance to.I take it and change into it.Its a red flowy silk dress.Simple yet cute enough for a party.

I goes into my room and i see Kayla already start to do her hair on my vanity table.

"Do you think i look okay?"I ask her as she look at the mirror in front of her seeing me at the back.

"You look great Alyssa.You might as well get a boyfriend tonight" She grins at me.

I snort she knows that i don't want a boyfriend because of my trust issues.

My ex-boyfriend Mason broke it, he cheated on me with a blonde famous girl in our high school name Ashley.Well isn't that just so cliché?

"Well,you look gorgeous Kayla.I'm sure you are one to be taken first"I grin at her.

She smile at me through the mirror.Suddenly,i remembered something.

"Kay,how do you get invited to this party?"I didn't remember she telling me anything about it so i ask her.

She blushes."I was jogging around our park then this cute guy come up to me.We talk for sometimes then he ask me to the party"

I nudge her ,smirking "Cute guy huh?,looks like you would be taken faster than i thought"

She giggle "Oh shut up"

After done with our makeup and hair ,we walk out of the house.

Since Kayla said the house was a few house down we could just walk.If y'all didn't catch up yet,Kayla lives around my neighborhood.So we usually hangout often.Sometimes i would eat dinner with her family since mine are not here anymore.

They died 2 years ago in a car accident.I was seventeen,i lived with my aunt.She was nice i guess but she didn't care enough about me like my parents did.So,I started going to fights after that to forget about my parents and how alone i was.

We get to their house and damn their house is big.It's bigger than the other houses on our area.

We walk in ,a guy look like the same age as me and Kayla come up to us.

"Alyss,this is the guy i was talking about" She tell me.

"Ah nice to meet you..." I drag my sentence because i don't know his name.

"Jack"he tells me.

"My name is Alyssa"

He nods

He then start to talk to Kayla and then ask her to dance.Kayla ask me if i'm okay alone,i just nod.I know there's a girl code about not leaving her friend alone at a place that they don't know but i really don't want to let me disturb her chance of getting a boyfriend.

Well looks like i'm alone now.I goes to the drink section to drink a bit.

And that turn into a lot. I start to get drunk.As i was looking for Kayla,i bump into someone.

It's a guy with brunette hair who's smirking at me

"Hey,what's a gorgeous girl like you doing here" he grab my wrist.

I take my wrist of off him and try to walk away but he pull me to him.I kick him but i can't seem to focus enough because my head is buzzing with how much drink i had.

Then a fist was thrown in his face.I look at the guy who punch him.

It's Hayden?

I wave at him.He just clenched his jaw and he took my hands while asking me a bunch of questions that i can't hear.After that was all a blur.
