We went to Antonio’s room with more light and a stronger smell of a hospital that made it more serious. Watching my dear brother, a grown up man, helpless and defenceless, on the bed with IV in hand and parallel monitors attached to him, was painful to me. Despite her state, I reached out to his hand and held his tightly squeezing it so as to let him know that I was there for him.

“Antonio, get up and fight Please We need you , I need you,” I said in a soft yet very intense voice.

Sabrina was standing next to me, she put her hand on my shoulder. “We’re here, Antonio. If anything we’re not moving anywhere. ”
