Third Person's POVLexon and Aero finish looking over Vincent's report, and Lexon sighs as he sits back in his chair. “Well, it looks like our people aren't the only ones running underground illegal operations,” Aero said as he stood and walked toward the liquor cabinet.“We're going to have to take this to Reid. This isn't our jurisdiction,” Lexon said, then looked at his brother when he groaned. “You drank the last of the blood,” Aero said in frustration. “Yeah, sorry about that. I can't drink from Jace in the mornings because of his supplements. Just go to the feeding room. There's tons of humans in there,” Lexon said sarcastically as he wiggled his eyebrows at his brother.Aero glared at his brother and was tempted to bite his smart ass. “Listen, I told you I'm sorry! Keep rubbing it in, and I'm going to bite your ass,” “Only if you can catch me, little brother,” Lexon teased, his black mist dancing around him, ready to disappear if his brother lunged for him. “Go get some bl
Third Person's POV Naham's eyes slowly closed when he felt his mate's tongue against his neck. The Omega released a shaky breath as Aero laid an open mouth kiss on his neck. The Omega was shocked, but he wasn't afraid. In fact, it was quite the opposite. He felt excitement rolling through him and anticipation, waiting for the moment he feels Aero's fangs pierce his skin. A shiver ran down his spine when he felt his vampire's tongue against his neck and his mouth sucking at the tender flesh. He bit his lip, and his chest rapidly rose and fell as he gripped Aero. “Naham,” Aero whispered, causing the Omega's heart to skip a beat at the sound of his name.Aero's hand gripping and caressing his back so intimately, it made Naham melt against his mate. He felt Aero's fangs pierce his skin, his eyes shot open, and his mouth opened as he sucked a breath in. He immediately noticed it felt much different than any other time. It didn't hurt nearly as bad; in fact, it almost felt good. He felt
Third Person's POV Aero was on cloud nine. His little Omega didn't want to let him go. It was a strange feeling, but one he loved. The Elder went from never letting anyone get too close, to not wanting to let the Omega go. His presence was comforting and soothing. It calmed something deep inside, something he didn't know needed to be soothed, and he made him happy in a way he never knew was possible. The Elder had already fallen deeply for the Omega. He just didn't realize he was already in love. When the Omega lifted his head and looked at him lovingly, the Elder felt giddy and almost squirmed. He felt like a young vampire again, but different. Naham looked at Aero in a new light. He no longer feared him or considered him a monster. Even though he was the very being that terrified him and brought him misery, he trusted Aero and found himself falling for the vampire. Aero reached up and caressed the Omega's cheek. “Do you want to go for a walk? Aside from the balcony, I know it's
Third Person's POV “Tate, you can't hide behind your work. I know you're hurting, but drowning yourself in work won’t make it go away,” Noah said as he walked around the desk. The Omega came onto his toes, trying to sit on the desk, and then he frowned when it wasn't working. Tate raised an eyebrow as he watched the little Omega desperately try to sit on the desk in front of him. He bit his cheek, trying not to laugh.“Why do they make these damn things so tall?!” Noah growled in frustration and then yelped when Tate plucked him off his feet and sat him on the desk. “There you go, short stuff,” Tate said, and Noah's face lit up. “Hey, there you go! Hang around with me long enough; everyone you know will have a nickname!” Noah said happily, and Tate groaned as he shook his head. “And how is that supposed to help me?” “It'll help you by giving you a sense of humor instead of walking around with a stick up your ass like you normally do!” Noah said, and Tate rolled his eyes. “Anyway
Third Person's POV “Damn it, why didn't you tell me this earlier!” Aero said in frustration as he raked his fingers through his hair. “I'm sorry, I didn't think to tell you about it. I was too focused on my little dragon to think of yours,” Ezra said as he shrugged his shoulders. “Well shit, watch our mates!” Aero said as his black mist began forming around him. Adonis was mid-sentence when the Elder suddenly appeared, and Lana shrieked. “I'm sorry! I need you to help me get my Omega gold for his ritual,” Aero said with a look of desperation. Lana held her hand over her chest as she awed, and the commander laughed while grabbing the Elder. “You know the pastry shop next to that vegetarian dump, right?” Adonis asked, and Aero cringed, remembering the time the stupid fluffy white-haired Omega took him there and tried to get him to eat that nasty plant-based shit. His black mist danced around them before the ground under their feet disappeared. ~Aero
Third Person's POVJoey almost dropped his fork when there was a knock at the door. His heart raced, and he eagerly nudged Luke, wanting him to answer it. Luke chuckles as he stands up from the table to answer the door. Joey nervously stands back. He just knows it’s Tate this time. Who else would it be? The Omega thought, nibbling on his lip as Luke opened the door. His shoulders slump when Benjamin enters instead of Tate. Benjamin gently grabs Luke's chin as his head dips and kisses his mate's lips. “Sorry, I'm late. I had to stop in town to grab you a gift. Happy birthday, little man,” Benjamin said as he handed Joey a present. The Omega's face lit up, and he signed “thank you” before he sat down and began tearing it open. Confused, the Omega's eyebrows knit together as he holds up what looks like two long-sleeve gloves. Except these gloves are open at the top where the fingers should be, but they aren't. Luke giggles when he realizes what his mate bought Joey. “I thought you c
Third Person's POVWyatt followed Luke down the hall as he carried the Omega into his bedroom and set Joey on his bed. Luke was by the Omega's side and pulled him into his arms. Rose sat down on the other side of Joey and began rubbing his back.“What happened?” Wyatt asked, concerned.“I'm sorry. Can you give us some privacy?” Luke asked Wyatt, and he nodded before leaving the bedroom and pulling the door shut behind him. The three sat silently, and Joey's crying was the only sound. No one said anything until the Omegas stopped crying.“He's your mate, isn't he?” Luke asked, and Rose's eyes snapped Luke in shock. She looked at her son, eager for his response, and was surprised when Joey nodded his head. “Who? Who is his mate?” Rose asked, praying it wasn't who she thought it was. “Tate,” Luke said, and Joey almost started crying again at the sound of his name. It hurt so bad to know that his mate, the person who was supposed to love him, loved someone else. It felt like a part of
Third Person's POV Tate sat down on Joey's bed, the Omega still wrapped tightly in his arms. He felt tears on his neck, and he hated the fact that he was responsible for those tears. He's not sure how he was so blind and didn't realize what he now realizes. All those times Joey slipped into his mind while he was with Chloe was his heart falling for the Omega and Chloe slipping further away. Near the end, Joey slipped into his mind at least once every time he was around Chloe. The last three times he had sex with her, he came while picturing Joey's face in ecstasy. He fought it, fighting himself and denying what was really happening. He refused to accept that he was falling out of love with Chloe and quickly falling for Omega. It wasn't until he tried to imagine if he could have chosen either one, who would it be, that he realized it would be Joey… It would always be Joey. After a few moments, Joey pulled back and looked at Tate through tear-filled eyes. The Alpha's heart clenched
