Third Person's POV

Red mist seeps from Nadja's body, and red energy charges dance along his skin as he storms forward. The ancient Elders' anger is palpable, and his eyes burn red like flames. With the flick of a wrist, the vampire charging him flies across the room and through the wall.

He hisses and yells as he thrusts his hands forward, shooting red electrical bolts from his hands at the group of vampires charging toward him.

Their eyes widen; they never have a chance to stop and retreat. Their bodies jerk and convulse as the ancient Elder burns them to a crisp with the electrical current running through them.

As Aero slices through the enemies he has under his spell, crying on the ground, Lexon leaves a trail of black mist through the room as he teleports from one spot to another. Every time he lands in a new spot, his razor-sharp nails slice through his enemies like butter.

“Whoa, dude! That's some gnarly breath ya got there!” Vincent said before ripping the vampire's head of

Third Person's POV Aero tripped over a limb as he tried to leave the room quickly. As he fell forward, he yanked his head back, horrified that his face almost landed in the body of a rotting corpse. The Elder quickly scrambled to his feet and raced out of the room. He slammed the door shut and stared at the door for a moment, almost as if he was afraid something might come out. “What the fuck!” The Elder cursed as he wiped his hands on his pants before he took off toward the sound of chaos. Aero burst into the room where it sounded like people were being tortured and found Nadja in a full rage. His eyes burned red like flames, and the red electrical charges dancing along his skin were even more intense. Red strands of electrical energy shot from his right hand, and his enemies screamed in agony as he electrocuted them.Aero's head tilted when he realized the ancient Elder was using more than one ability. While electrocuting the enemies to the right, his left hand was outstretched to

Third Person's POV Nadja, Lexon, Aero, and Vincent frantically searched the building for Ezra. When Lexon's phone rang, he immediately knew who it was without looking.“What's wrong with my brother? I can feel his fear. Ezra's never afraid!” Grayson said as he paced his office. Ezra and Grayson share a connection because of their strong bloodline and both are Kings. Grayson has only felt Ezra's fear a couple times, and it was nowhere near as strong as this. The soon-to-be Alpha King was more than concerned. “I don't know. A witch disappeared with him. We can't find him anywhere,” Lexon said as he ran his fingers through his hair, pushing it out of his face. “Come get me,” Grayson demanded before hanging up the phone. He wasn't leaving any room to protest.Lexon sighs as he slips the phone into his pocket and faces everyone. “I have to go get Grayson. You guys might as well come with me. We might be bringing more than Grayson.” ~Addison's eyes move a

  • The Two Kings and the Lost Elder    Chapter 136

Third Person's POV When they entered the building, everything seemed normal. The main floor looked like a manufacturing facility for tractor parts, although it looked like the facility had seen better days. Half of it was shut down and looked like it hadn't been used in years, while the other half seemed to still be going, even if the machines looked like they were on their last leg. It wasn't until they entered the basement that it became clear that everything happening on the first floor was just a front. It was to cover up what was happening in the basement. The basement looked like a test facility. It seemed that they were trying to breed as many different shifters as possible, looking for the perfect hybrid to feed them. Based on the data they received from the raid on Luther's brother's location, they are trying to find which hybrid cross will replenish their blood the fastest but also be the sweetest. They want the best of both worlds—one that tastes good but can also contin

  • The Two Kings and the Lost Elder    Chapter 137

Third Person's POV Ezra stood and wiped the blood from his face with the back of his hand. When he hit her shield, it felt like he took a punch to his entire body. His body ached, and his face throbbed. The sound of the witch's laughter was grinding on his nerves and pissing him off. Ezra calmed himself. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, focusing on his abilities. When his eyes snapped open, they were burning red as he focused on her shield. Within seconds, he felt her and the spell around her. As he began to round the cauldron, she laughed again before disappearing—only this time, she didn't disappear. Her eyes widened, and she quickly looked around, shocked and surprised that she had not moved. Her head snapped in Ezra's direction, only to find a smirk on his face as he stood a few feet away. Her lips part, and she sucks a breath in when he begins walking toward her again. She feels it the moment he begins moving; her shield begins to falter. At first, it felt like a vibr

Third Person's POV The humans stood stunned as a figure from the flames emerged. No one made a sound, nor did they move. They couldn't believe the man was still walking even though he was engulfed in flames. It wasn't until they realized he was walking in their direction that they became concerned. That concern turned to terror when they realized he wasn't only alive but still very much intact, and the flames weren't hurting him. How could that be? It's not humanly possible!Aero was stunned and unsure of what to do. It wasn't until some of the humans began charging Ezra that he realized not all of the humans were what they seemed. Their eyes turned red, and their fangs and sharp nails extended as they raced toward Ezra. Ezra could feel Luther. When he honed in on his location, it disappeared and moved to another location. Luther’s location seemed to bounce throughout the town, moving as soon as Ezra figured out where he was. As Ezra approached the end of the field where the build

  • The Two Kings and the Lost Elder    Chapter 139

Third Person's POV Ezra's frustration and rage increased each time he felt Luther move. The Vampire King was a walking inferno. He screamed Luther's name as he walked down the street, and everything he approached went up in flames. Trees burst into flames, and cars and homes exploded. Lexon, Aero, and Nadja tried getting ahead of Ezra and clearing as many homes as they could. They have no idea if anyone was in the buildings and homes that were already burning and, if there were, how many innocent humans Ezra killed.Reid couldn't get close enough to his son; the fire that engulfed his body was too hot. He screamed his son's name, but it fell on deaf ears. Ezra couldn't hear his father; his rage was too loud. It consumed him, building and churning inside like a raging flame. The darkness talked to him like a soothing lullaby, luring him in. It begged him to let it in, and he did. Ezra opened his arms and welcomed it in. His fire rose into the sky, and Addison's shield began flickering

Third Person's POV Ezra’s eyes snapped open when he heard Lexon struggling to breathe. He turned, and his stomach dropped when he saw what he did to Lexon. The elder was unrecognizable. His white hair was gone, and his skin was melted and severely burned. Ezra took the blanket Grayson handed him and wrapped it around Roman before turning back to Lexon. When Ezra tried to approach, he flinched back when Aero yelled at him.“Get back! Stay the fuck back! Don't you dare touch my brother!” Aero's voice was hard, but his heart was broken, and he was scared. He didn't know what to do for his brother. Lexon was in agony, and he didn't know how to help. Addison, Reid, and Nadja knelt next to him. Addison began humming as Reid and Nadja's eyes began glowing. The three worked together, trying to heal the Elder. Reid did what he could, but he could not recreate new skin when there were no skin cells to work with. That's when Nadja took over. The ancient Elder pulled all of his powers together

Third Person's POV Ezra stood in the bathroom with his hands against the counter, staring into the sink. Images flashed in his head of what he did to those he loved. Nadja warned him what the darkness could do, and he believed him, but he never thought it would happen to him. He thought he was stronger. He thought he could control it. Ezra found out the hard way that wasn't the case. He remembers recognizing them, but He also remembers thinking they were insignificant. Whatever love he felt for them was no longer there. They were below him and an annoyance that he wanted to get rid of. He remembers what it felt like to hold Nadja's throat in his hand. He felt so powerful holding the ancient life in the palm of his hands. He remembers what it felt like to want to kill him, but what hurts the most is the reason he dropped his flames in the first place: his father. It wasn't because his father made a connection and was close to bringing him back from the darkness; it was because he fel

Third Person's POV “No no no! Let me show you,” Vincent said as he stood and walked around Ezra's desk. The king raised an eyebrow as he watched Vincent stroll around his desk like he owned the place. He was even more shocked when Vincent pushed his arm off of the armrest of his chair, sat down on it, and swung his arm around him. Ezra's mouth hung open, but Vincent closed it with his fingers before grabbing the mouse, moving it, and clicking the screen a few times before finding what he was looking for. “Voila! There it is!” Vincent said as he pointed at the screen.“There you go, big guy,” He said, roughing his knuckles against the King's shoulders as if they were best friends.Ezra slapped his hand away before shoving him off his chair. “Will you get out of here!” Ezra said as he tugged down on his shirt and fixed it. “Hey! Is that any way to talk to someone who just helped you? Where's my thank you?”“My thank you is going to be my foot up your ass if you keep it up!” Ezra sai

Third Person's POV The Beta carefully studies the board, looking at all of his enemies' pieces. Each move is critical. One wrong move, and he's dead. His jaw clenches, and his fist tightens as he tries to decide the best to move. The Beta makes his choice, and he's certain it's the right one. It will bring him just out of the enemy's reach, so he makes his move.A smirk rests on the Beta's face as he sits back, satisfied with his move. His eyes snapped to his enemy, who snorted before laughing. Coal looked at the board, trying to figure out what he was laughing about. His eyes narrow, watching the guard make his move. The Beta's mouth hangs open when he's put in check. He forgot about the stupid night. He took everything into consideration but the damn night! “You're falling asleep over there, Alpha!” Maverick teases, and Coal glares at him. The Beta with Alpha blood was ready to reach through the bars and smack Maverick. He was tempted to throw the board down the hall and burn ever

  • The Two Kings and the Lost Elder    Chapter 182

Third Person's POV Grayson had just finished cleaning his body, but the hot water felt too good to step out just yet. He lays his head back and lets the hot water beat down against his chest as he goes over the events from 17 hours ago. It was a long drive. Even without stopping to sit down and eat, only grabbing fast food to eat in the car once at lunchtime, and refueling when needed, it still took 12 and 1/2 hours to get there and 12 and 1/2 hours back. Everything about the trip there and the attack was last minute, so there was not a lot of extra time. They arrived just outside of Ella's pack around 5:30 p.m., allowing them to sleep in wolf form outside their vehicles for 2 hours. When they woke up, they had just enough time to eat and go over the attack one final time before heading to Ella's pack and surrounding it. The attack itself was quite easy. They never saw it coming. With a pack of just over 850 people, Grayson and his 400 warriors quickly secured the pack, but that w

Third Person's POV Sebastian didn't understand why Grayson had to leave so soon after his heat was over. No matter how many times his mate told him it was important and he would be back as soon as possible, it still hurt. It was his first heat. The first time he was so vulnerable in front of his mate, just to have him leave the very day after it was over. It made the Delta feel like he did something wrong. It was a knife to his heart, but he hid his heartbreak. He tried hiding in his room, but his new best friend wouldn't let him. His brother-in-law was knocking at his door only a few hours after Grayson left. Kyle kept him company all day and even spent the night. They camped out in the living room, eating junk food and watching movies until they fell asleep. He was thankful for Kyle. He wasn't sure how he would have gotten through the night without Grayson alone.Unfortunately, once morning came, Kyle had to go to work. That left Sebastian with nothing to do. The daycare didn't nee

Third Person's POV Her beautiful scent surrounds him as she lies back against his chest. She rests just off center to his left, with his left arm draped over her shoulder. She holds his hand as it hangs over her shoulder, playing with his fingers as they lazily watch TV. The room lies in disarray; nearly everything is broken. It looks like there was an invader, or they were attacked. There must have been a wild fight. A fight to the death, perhaps. But no… there was no fight to the death, no fight at all… at least, not that kind of fight. The scent of sex still lingers in the air strongly, as if they just had sex. They may not have just finished their first round, but it was their final round for now. Nadja's eyes roam the room, assessing the damage. His lips curl up in amusement when he realizes the destruction they left their room in. The only thing left standing untouched is the TV, and that's because it's mounted to the wall. Not even the bed is intact anymore. It rests at an

  • The Two Kings and the Lost Elder    Knot note ;)

I want to clear up a small confusion with knots. I had two people think my characters having knots is new to the series with the last chapter, and that's not true.Dominant males having a knot has been in my series since book one. I don't recall if I mentioned Thaddeus's knot, but I definitely mentioned Michael's on several occasions. Noah whimpered because it hurt when it tugged on him each time Michael moved. Also, there is a chapter where Asher accidentally knots Michael. I believe that is in the book River Pack. It shocked both Alphas since a dominant mate doesn't normally knot another dominant mate.Knots are NOT strictly an Alpha thing, either. It's any dominant male when their mate is in heat. If their mate is not in heat, their knot will not bloom. I can't remember every instance, but I do have this one that wasn't an Alpha. In Harris's book, chapter 79, Brian is a dominant Beta, and he knotted his Omega, River when he went into heat.Another knotting instance was in Claudiu

Third Person's POV “Mmmm… you're so wet. Your body is so ready for me. You're dripping, so eager for your Alpha. Look how ready your body is,” Aspen said as he pressed another finger with ease. It pleased the Alpha wolf to see how ready and eager Darien's body was. He pumped his fingers in and out of Darien's eager hole, watching with fascination as the slick leaked out around his fingers. He looked down between his legs and found Darien's neglected cock, leaking onto the bed. “Look at you… Your body is begging me to touch and play with it. Do you want me to touch it? Do you want me to play with your cock?” Aspen asked, his voice somehow thicker and deeper. It vibrates at the end as it turns into a deep growl. The sound has Darien's body reacting to it, sending a jolt of pleasure down his spine and forcing the slick out around Wyatt's fingers. Darien couldn't believe how he was acting and how his body responded to the way Aspen was talking to him. He thought he should be embarras

Third Person's POVMovement beside Wyatt slowly woke him. When he woke up, the first thing his senses picked up was a delicious mouth-watering scent. Wyatt blinked his sleepy eyes, rubbing them as he tried to figure out what was going on. Once the haze of sleep faded, he realized Darian wasn't in his arms where he should be. He looked to his right and found the source of movement that woke him. Darien was asleep, but he was covered in sweat and rutting against the bed.Wyatt rubbed his eyes again before reaching over and trying to shake Darien awake. The Alpha assumed his mate was having a kinky dream. What he wasn't expecting was for Darien to go from sleeping to being wide awake and growling at him like he was a midnight snack. The sleep was barely out of the Alpha's eyes when his mate pounced on him. The only sound that managed to escape the Alpha was a muffled grunt before his lips were attacked and a tongue thrust into his mouth, hungry tasting him.Darien rutted against his A

Third Person's POV Ezra couldn't believe how hot Roman's body was. His body was like a little inferno as he squirmed under him. His natural tan skin looks like caramel under the warm light. It glistens with sweat, and the scent of his slick is the strongest he's ever smelled. It's consuming all of his senses, turning his mind to mush with only one thought left in his head… Roman! The taste of his essence still lingers in his mouth as he licks his lips. One orgasm was nowhere near enough for the Omega. His hungry eyes bore into his soul as he climbed his body, tasting it as he moved higher. “N-Need you… in me…now!” Roman pants, his head lifting off the bed as he chases Ezra's lips. Roman's legs wrap around the king's waist as his tongue dives inside his mouth. His hands are desperate as they move across Ezra's body, trying to feel as much of him as possible, tugging at his skin and pulling him closer. He moans into Ezra's mouth as the king's large hand glides up his thigh, caressin
