Emma’s hand danced across the keyboard as she typed the message: “They’re acting strange… I mean the twins. Ever has done something to them. They don’t even see me. What do I do?” After double-checking the message, she hit send. The response came almost instantly as if Damien had been waiting for her message.

“Drink the vial I gave you; it will neutralize whatever is wrong with them, he replied.”

Emma stared at his screen, her heart pounding. She had not intended to use the Vial on herself, but if it were the only way to break through whatever spell Ever had cast, she would do it.

Before she could make a move, the door to the venue opened once more, and her parents walked in. The arrival caused a ripple of whispers among the guests. Emma felt a surge of relief mixed with dread as they made their way toward the high table.

Her father’s face was calm, but her mother’s sharp gaze swept over the room, landing on Ever and the twins. Emma watched as her parents approached the trio.

Her mother’s voice carried across the room, sharp and commanding. “Ever,” she said, her tone cool but laced with authority, “what exactly are you doing with the Alpha’s sons?”

Ever smiled, her expression unfaltering, but Emma could see the fear in her posture. Rising gracefully, Ever addressed their parents. “I’m simply enjoying the evening with them,” she said, her voice smooth and innocent. “Is that a problem?”

Emma’s father stepped forward, his expression unreadable. “It’s unusual, given the circumstances,” he said carefully. “You know this event is more than just a feast, it’s about bonds and tradition.”

Ever’s eyes flickered toward Emma for a brief moment before she replied, “Of course, Father, but surely you don’t expect me to ignore them when they’ve been so kind as to accompany me tonight?”

“Kindness has its limits, Ever,” their mother interjected, her gaze sharp and unyielding. “Don’t overstep it.”

“What is happening? What caused all this commotion?” Jayden was forced to talk.

“I’m sorry to disturb your festival, Alpha,” Emma’s father began, his voice steady but firm, “but I just want to inform you that Ever is not supposed to be in this position. She is not supposed to be here.”

The twins exchanged confused glances. They knew, without a doubt, that Ever smelled like their mate. So why was her father saying otherwise? It didn’t make sense.

“That doesn’t make sense,” Kale said, his brow furrowing. “She smells like our mate. So what are you talking about?”

Ever’s father remained composed, his tone unwavering as he replied, “She may smell like your mate, but that doesn’t mean she is. What you are feeling is a deception, an illusion. Ever was never meant to bond with you. Her purpose is something else entirely.”

People exchanged glances between them and murmurs echoed from different angles in the hall.

“What are you talking about?” Jayden demanded, his voice sharp with irritation.

“She is to be your blood donor,” Ever’s father declared bluntly, his gaze piercing.

A hushed murmur swept through the crowd. The twins’ confusion deepened as Kel echoed in disbelief, “Blood donor?”

“Yes,” Ever’s father pressed on. “Her role is to strengthen you, not to be bonded with you. If she claims otherwise, she is trying to protect herself, manipulating the situation for her gain.”

Ever’s eyes widened, tears welling up and spilling over. She clutched her chest dramatically, her voice breaking as she cried out, “How could you say such things about your daughter? Why are you trying to ruin my happiness?”

The twins, still partially swayed by Ever’s scent, glanced between her and her father, torn and unsure of what to believe.

“Enough!” the Alpha commanded from where he was sitting, his deep voice cutting through the noise. “Ever, stop this scene. You are drawing unnecessary attention.”

Ever’s trembling hands remained at her sides as she tried to appear composed, though her fear was evident.

The Alpha turned to Emma’s parents, he stared at them for more than a minute before nodding twice. “Follow me.” He commanded, his tone was firm and left no room for argument.

The parents stepped forward to follow the Alpha, leaving the murmuring crowd behind. Once they were in a corner, the twins’ father turned to Emma’s parents, his voice sharp and demanding. “Explain the situation. Why does Ever smell like their mate if she is not?”

Ever’s father sighed heavily, his shoulders slumping as if the weight of the truth bore down on him. “It is a long story, but the truth is, Ever tampered with a sacred bond. She manipulated their senses to make herself appear as their mate.”

The twins’ father frowned deeply, his brows furrowing in disbelief. “Why would she do such a thing? To gain power?”

“She wanted to bind herself to them for influence, to position herself in their lives where she doesn’t belong. But the real mate is Emma,” Emma’s mother interjected, her voice steady but laced with disappointment.

Emma’s father continued, his tone resolute. “Emma is the one with the ability to see the future and predict what is to come. Her gift is something that can benefit your pack in ways Ever never could.”

The twins’ father rubbed his chin thoughtfully, his piercing gaze shifting toward Emma, who was still at a distance, unaware of the conversation. “She can see the future?” he asked, his voice measured.

“Yes,” Emma’s father confirmed without hesitation. “Her visions have guided us through countless challenges. She is the one who is truly destined to stand by your sons’ side.”

The Alpha considered this, his expression shifting from skepticism to intrigue. His sharp eyes softened slightly as he nodded. “So you mean it is Emma who can see the future?” He questions his search between the two.

“Yes my Alpha,” they replied.

“If that’s true, it changes everything. Emma as their mate would be a significant advantage to the pack then.”

Emma woke up the next day and began loading her luggage She was excited with the thought of moving to the pack. She remembered the conversation she had with her parents the other day when her mother encouraged her and told her not to disobey or be rude to either the Alpha or the twins. Her mother had made her promise that, no matter what the twins did to her, she would let everything happen naturally and wouldn’t try to force herself on them, just as the Alpha had advised. She was about to close her luggage when her mom entered with a smile."Good morning, darling," she said, pulling her to a tight hug. They embraced as Emma inhaled the comforting scent of her mother’s shampoo. They departed from the hug, her mom glanced at the luggage then to her with sadness. "Oh, so it is finally happening," her mom said. Emma pouted her lips, sitting down on the bed. "I can't believe this either," she said, looking around the room. "I’m really going to miss this place.” Her mother nodded. “Of c

Emma marched forward to her room. She didn’t know what was wrong with the twins or why they thought they could transform their aggression on her. She walked to her bed and fell down heavily on it, her eyes magnetized to the ceiling.Obviously, she didn’t know why she suddenly missed her parent so much. She wished she could go back home, but she had already set her leg into this, and there was no way of going back.“I miss you, Mom,” she muttered, her heart freezing with different types of questions. Maybe if she was still with her mom, she wouldn’t be facing all this nonsense from those dramatic twins.Suddenly, her phone vibrated, and she flinched, sitting up on the bed and holding her chest. She was scared for a second. She picked up the phone and realized it was Damien calling. Happily, she slid the green button and pressed the phone against her right ear.“Hello, Damien,” she whispered happily.“Emma, how are you doing? I heard you moved to the pack. The twins were equally surprised by Emma’s boldness. How dare she slam the door in their face like that? The two of them exchanged angry glares before storming out, walking to their father’s office. They knocked on the door, and before their father’s voice could give them permission to enter, they burst the door opened and stepped inside. They stood in front of him in a way that made their father raise an eyebrow and drop the document in his hands, his eyes now focused on the two of them.“What’s wrong? Is everything okay?” he asked. The twins stepped further into the room.“Everything is not okay, Father. Not a bit of it is okay,” Kale started. “I mean, the brat that you brought home disrespected us in a way that could cause her trouble. How dare she slam the door on our face without our permission? That’s just out of line.”“She doesn’t get to behave like that to us, Father,” Jayden added immediately. The Alpha, focused all his attention on them.“Is that what she did? She slammed t

The next morning, Emma rose with a sense of determination weighing on her shoulders. The Alpha's words from the previous day echoed in her mind, reminding her that she had no choice but to endure whatever the twins threw her way. Fighting back or allowing their actions to affect her would only give them more power over her.The best thing she could do now was to act as though their cruelty meant nothing to her. She decided to find a way to get on their good side and promised to do everything that would make them forgive her. She thought about making breakfast for them. She went to the kitchen, taking a deep breath and steadying herself. She wanted to remain peaceful, or at least survive in the process. Perhaps a gesture of goodwill would help. Cooking for them wasn't exactly something she wanted to do, but it was a way to extend an olive branch without outright begging for their forgiveness. She focused on preparing the meal with care, ensuring the food was cooked perfectly, well-sea

I thought you said you would do whatever we ask you to do?” Kale raised an eyebrow. “Yes, I promise but why should I come to the wood? At night?” Jayden smirk widened. “No more questions! You heard him. Make sure you look nice. We don’t want you showing up looking like you just rolled out of bed with a snooze,” Jayden smiled devilishly. The first thing Emma felt was warmth. It surrounded her, cocooning her in a way that was oddly comforting. But the moment her consciousness returned, so did the memories, the rogues, the attack, the suffocating fear. Her eyes snapped opened panic seizing her chest as she bolted upright. She expected to be alone but she wasn’t. Her breath hitched as she realized she was lying in an unfamiliar room, one far to elegant to belong to her. The walls were dark, lined with intricate carving, and the heavy drapes cast long shadows across the dimly lit discs. Everything smelled fairly of wood and an oddly familiar scent that she couldn’t dispatch. Then suddenly her gaze met them. Jayden and Jake, they where sitting across the room, their gazes locked onto her the moment she moved. Emma stiffened. Something is definitely not right. She could feel it. The twins Everett wearing their unusual smirks, there was no mockery, no arroganc, just something unreadable in their eyes. “How do you fee

Then Kale burst into laughter. “By the moon, that was the most pathetic thing I’ve ever seen,” he choked out between his laughter, clutching his stomach. Jayden only sighed, shaking his head. His expression was unreadable, but there was a flicker of amusement in his eyes. Emma groaned, her face burning with embarrassment. Emma pressed her back against the door, her heart still racing. Her hands trembled slightly as she touched her burning cheeks, still feeling the ghost of their lips against hers. What had she gotten herself into? The twins had always been a mystery to her, cold and distant at first, their attention fixed elsewhere. But now? They were relentless, teasing, chasing her in ways that made her feel flustered and uncertain. And the worst part? She didn’t hate it. Emma groaned, running a hand through her hair. She needed to clear her head. A knock at the door startled her. She jumped, gripping the handle as she tried to steady herself. “Who is it?” she called, hoping her voice didn’t betray how shaken she was. “It’s me,” a familiar voice replied. Tyler. Emma quickly composed herself and opened the door. He stood there with his arms crossed, his expression unreadable. “Can I come in?” Emma hesitated before stepping aside, allowing him in. Tyler walked in, his sharp eyes scanning

The morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a golden hue across the room. Emma shifted beneath the blankets, her body still sore, a dull ache lingering in places she hadn’t expected. She squeezed her eyes shut as the memories of last night rushed back, Jayden and Kale, their lips on hers, their hands mapping her skin. Jayden tongue on her clit, Kale's lips on her nipple. Heat surged through her body at the thought, embarrassment creeping up her spine. “What the hell was that?” she whispered, burying her face in her pillow. She wasn’t supposed to let that happen. She should’ve pushed them away, scolded them, or something. But instead, she had stood there, stunned, her body betraying her as they stole breath after breath from her lips. A groan slipped from her lips as she turned over, willing the thoughts away. But the warmth spreading through her wouldn’t leave. She went to the bathroom, splashed water on her face, anything just to make the memory erased but instead

Emma let out a deep sigh as she stepped out of the bathroom, her body still damp from the hot shower. Steam curled around her as she wrapped a towel securely around herself, tucking the edge between her breasts to keep it in place. The night had been exhausting, her mind clouded with everything that had happened with Ever, the twins, and the suspicions surrounding her sister. She ran a hand through her wet hair, staring at her reflection in the mirror. Her thoughts were a mess, but she wasn’t going to let Ever win. Not again. Just as she turned toward her closet, the door to her room suddenly burst open. Emma gasped, clutching her towel tightly as she spun around. Jayden and Kale stood in the doorway, their eyes locking onto her instantly. Their presence filled the space, their towering forms radiating something intense, something primal. “Wh-what are you doing here?” Emma stammered, backing up slightly, her fingers gripping the fabric of her towel. The twins stepped inside, cl

Ever stormed out of the packhouse, her heels clicking against the pavement, her face twisted in frustration. The cool night air did little to ease the heat of her anger. Her mother, rushed after her, confusion written all over her face. “Ever, slow down!” Her mother called, struggling to keep pace with her daughter’s hurried steps. “What’s gotten into you?” Ever barely spared her a glance. “Nothing.” Her mother frowned. “Nothing? You insisted we come here, and now you’re dragging me out like we weren’t just welcomed inside. What happened?” Ever rolled her eyes, inhaling deeply to keep her patience in check. She couldn’t let her mother see how much Emma had gotten under her skin. “I just wasn’t feeling well,” she muttered, keeping her gaze forward. Her mother sighed, reaching out to grab Ever’s wrist. “You seemed fine before. Tell me the truth, Ever. Did something happen with Emma?” Ever jerked her hand free, her eyes flashing with annoyance. “Why do you always assume I’m the p

Ever’s fingers twitched in her pocket, gripping the stolen toothbrushes as she forced herself to remain calm. Her heart pounded in her chest, but she forced herself to breathe evenly. Jayden’s sharp eyes bore into her, scrutinizing her every movement. “I didn’t take anything,” Ever insisted, her voice perfectly steady, though her pulse hammered in her ears. Jayden scoffed, taking another step forward. “I don’t believe you.” Ever let out an exaggerated sigh, shaking her head as though she was exhausted by the accusation. “I don’t know why you’re acting this way. I was just looking around. If I knew you’d be this paranoid, I wouldn’t have even left the room.” Jayden didn’t flinch. “Then empty your pockets.” Ever’s jaw clenched, but she quickly masked it with a wounded expression. “Jayden, really? Do you think so little of me?” Before Jayden could respond, the door creaked open, and Emma stepped in. Her sharp gaze flickered between Ever’s stiff posture and Jayden’s tense stance.

The rumors about everything happening in the pack hadn’t missed Ever’s ears. She had been ecstatic when she first heard that Alpha m hated Emma now, believing it was what Emma deserved. That weak, pitiful girl had stolen attention that didn’t belong to her for far too long. But Ever’s joy faded when she learned what had happened the previous day. That changed everything. If Emma truly had the twins and the Alpha on her side, it meant she wasn’t as alone as Ever had hoped. It meant Emma had protection. Ever clenched her fists. No. She wouldn’t let this slip through her fingers. She needed to act before things spiraled out of her control. After pacing in her room for nearly an hour, Ever finally came up with a plan. It wasn’t enough to sit back and hope Emma’s misfortune continued. No she had to make sure of it. She went to find her mother, who was sitting on the porch, enjoying the warmth of the late afternoon sun. Her mother was blissfully unaware of everything happening in the

Emma’s body ached, her lungs burned, and sweat dripped down her forehead. She had already lost count of how many times Cedric had thrown her to the ground, but she refused to stay down. She tightened her fists, pushing herself up once more. Cedric smirked. “Give it up, omega. You’re embarrassing yourself.” Emma wiped the blood from her lip, eyes burning with determination. “Not yet.” She took a deep breath, adjusting her stance. She had been fighting defensively, trying to block his attacks, but that wasn’t working. If she wanted to win, she had to stop holding back. The moment Cedric lunged at her again, she sidestepped swiftly, dodging his punch at the last second. Instead of retreating, she turned and drove her elbow into his ribs with full force. He grunted in pain. The crowd gasped. But Emma didn’t stop. Before Cedric could recover, she spun and kicked his knee, sending him stumbling. Using that momentum, she jumped, twisting midair, and delivered a powerful kick to his

Emma stormed into her room, her chest tightening with frustration. She had left Tyler without a word, unable to process what had just happened. It was too much—too overwhelming. She was already struggling with the twins, Kale and Jayden, and now fate had cruelly tied her to Tyler as well. Three mates. Her hands clenched into fists as she paced back and forth. Why? Why did fate insist on playing games with her? First, it had given her a weak body, making her the pack’s punching bag. Then, it had forced her into a mate life where she had to fight for every scrap of respect. And just when she had started carving a place for herself, fate twisted again. Her breath came out shaky. Ever. The name alone made her blood run cold. She had suffered because of Ever. She had torn her down, made her feel like nothing, turned her into a joke. And now? Now that it was finally her turn to rise, to enjoy even a sliver of happiness, she was still being tormented. Was she never meant to find pe

Emma’s heart pounded as she sprinted through the trees, her breath coming out in sharp, uneven gasps. The cool breeze burned her lungs, but she didn’t stop. She couldn’t stop. Branches clawed at her arms, the damp earth shifting beneath her feet as she ran blindly through the dense forest. Her heartbeat roared in her ears, drowning out everything else—except for the heavy footsteps closing in behind her. Tyler was following. “Emma!” His deep voice rang through the trees, urgent and commanding. “Stop running!” Her pulse pounded harder. No. She couldn’t stop. She didn’t want to hear whatever he had to say. Didn’t want to face him, didn’t want to deal with this. Not now. Not ever. But he was fast. Too fast. Her legs burned with exhaustion, but Tyler showed no signs of slowing. His heavy footsteps grew louder, closer. “Emma, stop!” She tried to push herself harder, forcing her body to move faster—but before she could get any farther, a strong hand clamped around her wrist.
