Carly’s POV

I can’t believe Beta Vincent finally confirmed he had found her. It’s taken long enough. Eight years. For eight years straight, I've refused to let go of this grudge.

Growing up, I was taught about how special the mate bond was. I was taught to let no one touch what is mine. I was taught to save my virginity for my mate, just like they would save themselves for me. But this stupid pack encouraged them to share themselves, rid themselves of their sexual urges. It’s wrong and disgusting. My mates should have been as pure as I was.
