Rieka

There was a loud ringing in my ears as I continued to rub and blink my eyes. It didn't matter how many times I repeated the process, nor if my eyes were open or shut .... all I could see was blinding white.

"Give me a minute, " Lupa grumbled with irritation.

My sight slowly started to return as the ringing in my ears faded away. But the ringing was replaced by the sound of Mia's scream .....

..... Izzy .....

I pulled my arm out of Cerulean's grasp and clumsily made my way down the stairs towards the spot where I last saw Izzy.

Damian was kneeling on the ground with a hand on his forehead, struggling to come to his senses, and I hurried past him like he didn't even exist.

My heart sank as I reached the unmoving black mound that was in the middle of the charred spot in the yard ..... no, no, no, no .... please let her somehow be OK .....

Too many emotions were running through me to think straight, and I never bothered to take the size and shape of what I was lookin

  • The True Elemental Luna   Chapter 69 - So It Begins

Isabella We stopped walking once we reached a large oak tree standing alone in the center of a low-cut field surrounded by wooded hills. Thunder echoed in the distance as thick, black clouds took over the sky. It didn't take long before large drops of rain started to fall. "I thought it was supposed to be clear tonight?" Timophy asked as he and Chantel watched their minions gather dead wood and throw it in a pile near the tree. Chantel scoffed and rolled her eyes as the rain dripped from her body. "It doesn't matter. A full moon is a full moon. They won't risk their warriors being here. They'll come running as soon as they see the fire. Especially since we not only have the whore, but their beloved Delta as well. It's now or never." She's a smarter bitch than I gave her credit for. I watched as two rope nooses were thrown over the thickest branch of the tree, and my eyes widened as I realized what they were doing. They were recreating the night that Gypsy Moon was killed .

Rieka So many sets of confused eyes were watching every move I made. I knew that our warriors didn't understand why they were called here during a full moon .... and by a voice they didn't recognize. We never had a chance to have a formal introduction party, let alone an actual Luna ceremony. Sure, they knew about Izzy, Mia, and I. They knew about the attack involving Jo and that Gram had been killed. They knew why security had been increased and that there was at least one traitor among them. However, only a handful had met me, and now I was asking them all to fight when their instinct told them not to. Seth stepped forward to address everyone. "We don't know for sure what we're dealing with, so be cautious and pick your opponents wisely! If you feel overpowered or outnumbered, do not hesitate to get out of that situation and seek assistance. There is no shame in surviving. The fairies are here to fight alongside us. Fight with them and for them as if they are members of this p

  • The True Elemental Luna   Chapter 67 - The Future

Selene Being the Moon Goddess isn't always full of moonshine and puppies. I would love it if it were, but more often than not, it's about creating unions that are the best for the future. Sometimes, I'm wrong. And sometimes, the werewolves I pair together reject one another for their own personal reasons. With each failed bond, an unwanted rift is created .... and back to the drawing board I go. Most don't know it, but I often discuss possibilities with Fenrir. The large, muscular man with tanned skin, brown eyes, and a clean-shaven head may not look like much in the brains department, but being the werewolf God of war has its place, as love and war always seem to go hand in hand. Fenrir and I sat quietly, side by side, on the wooden dock, gazing into the deep, dark waters of the large pond. The water was so dark that I couldn't even see my midnight black hair in my reflection. All I saw was my moon-white skin. "I really hope that you know what you're getting them into, " Fe

  • The True Elemental Luna   Chapter 66 - Faith

Rieka It was the night of the third day of Izzy's kidnapping, and we weren't any closer to figuring out what was going on and where she was. After dinner, we all gathered in the living room to continue discussing how to adjust our plans for the next day. Well, everyone except for Damian. Damian had missed dinner yet again. And I may have been there physically, but mentally, I wasn't even in the room. While the others talked, I sat quietly, trying to force a link to open with Izzy. "You know that it's insane to continuously perform the same action while expecting a different outcome, right?" Lupa asked. I closed my eyes and sighed, knowing that she was right. But how the hell could a simple dark witch be more powerful than Sylvia and I? Besides, I was all out of ideas ..... other than offering myself to Dis ....... Lupa growled deeply. "You shut up with that way of thinking. We will find her. And it won't involve you sacrificing our lives in exchange for hers. You don't even

Damian I looked up at the beautiful sunset sky as the full moon began to make her appearance. A part of me wanted to let Ace take over, but we were both so weak and stressed right now that there was a good chance we'd go crazed. It was our own stupidity for not taking care of ourselves over the past three days, but doing so wasn't what was important. We all knew that Bella's kidnapping wasn't random. Dis had been far too quiet since Timophy and Laura attacked Rhi and Jo. We all knew that it was only a matter of time before the devil made his move, and it wasn't anything that we could predict or prevent. But what no one was anticipating was the pack having a traitor to help him. Seth increased the number of guards even more, even rotating our own warriors with those that Blue's sisters sent, and he made it a requirement that all vehicles be checked every time they crossed pack property lines. Search parties worked around the clock looking for Bella, but it wasn't an easy task,

  • The True Elemental Luna   Chapter 64 - Two for One

Isabella I sat on the hard, wooden floor with my eyes closed tightly as I bit my lips together, wishing that my captors would just hurry up and kill me. "Do we really have to go through this every day? You NEED to drink. You don't understand how important it is," Peter grumbled as he continued to hold the bag of blood up to my lips. I finally opened my eyes and stared into his teal orbs. "Need to? No, I don't. I'll just become a fucking mummy if I don't eat. And the last bag tasted like shit. Knowing you and your partner, it's probably sepsis. " Peter squinted his eyes and dropped the bag in my lap as he stood up. "One would think you'd be appreciative of the fact that I'm offering you substance .... and that your hands are no longer behind your back. If I wanted to hurt you, I would have fucking done it by now, not made you more comfortable," he snapped before leaving me alone in the old, dimly lit, one-room building, locking the door behind him. As he opened the door, I
