Theron 's POV

The next morning, I woke up with a renewed sense of purpose. I wasn’t going to let anyone—or anything—stand between me and Elowen. Kade had been right. She was our mate, and no matter how much she tried to push me away, I couldn’t abandon the bond.

I got dressed quickly, pulling on a black shirt and jeans before heading out. As I walked down the hallway, I caught snippets of conversations. Whispers about Elowen and Kael were everywhere.

"Did you see them yesterday? Kael put his jacket on her like they were a couple!"

"I heard they’re always together now. Isn’t she supposed to be mates with the triplets?"

The words made my blood boil, but I forced myself to stay calm. Storming into the academy like a jealous lunatic wouldn’t help.

As I entered the main courtyard, I saw her. Elowen was standing near the fountain with Kael, the two of them laughing about something. She looked...happy. It was a sight I hadn’t seen in so long, and it twisted something deep inside me.

I pressed my fingers to my mouth, desperate to wipe away the lingering sensation of him, but it was futile. The warmth of his lips, the raw intensity of the kiss—it was all burned into my memory. How dare he? Anger and confusion swirled within me as I pushed open the heavy doors that led outside. Rain poured from the heavens, soaking me instantly, but I didn’t care. The cold droplets felt grounding, washing away the chaos threatening to consume me. I couldn’t understand why I let myself kiss him back. After everything he and his brothers had done, after the pain and humiliation they’d inflicted on me, how could I betray myself like that? I clenched my fists, my nails biting into my palms. No. This can’t happen again. I can’t let them mess with my head anymore. I have to stay strong.A low growl echoed in my mind. “Good,” my wolf, Nyra, said. “Use that anger, Elowen. Let it fu

His expression was raw, vulnerable, a side of him I rarely saw. "I don’t know how to stay away, Elowen. Every time I see you, every time I hear your voice, it pulls me in. I can’t fight it anymore."I swallowed hard, my chest tightening. "You don’t get to say that, Theron. "I know I’ve hurt you, and I’ll never forgive myself for it. But I—" He hesitated, his voice faltering. "I can’t stand seeing you with Kael. It drives me insane. I rushed to the bathroom, needing the small, confined space to hold myself together, but the second I caught my reflection in the mirror, I shattered. My face was pale, my eyes red-rimmed, and my hair was still damp from the rain. The girl staring back at me looked like a stranger—lost, broken, and utterly defeated. I gripped the edge of the sink, my knuckles turning white as I tried to steady myself. But the pain was too much, the emotions swirling inside me too overwhelming. “What’s wrong with me?” I whispered, my voice cracking as tears blurred my vision. I sank to the tiled floor, pulling my knees to my chest as the sobs I’d been holding back finally escaped. It was all too much—the betrayal, the lies, the endless cycle of pain and confusion. Elowen’s POV The morning came, but it didn’t feel like the start of a new day. It felt like the beginning of something darker, something powerful, something that would change everything. I stood in front of the mirror, taking in the reflection staring back at me. I had chosen my clothes carefully today. A tight, black leather jacket clung to my body, showing off my curves. My shirt underneath was dark and fitted, and the jeans hugged my legs just right. I wanted to show them—show all of them—that I wasn’t the fragile, broken girl they thought I was. My makeup was bold, my lips a deep shade of crimson, my eyes smoky and intense. I wanted to make an impression, leave a mark. As I looked at myself in the mirror, I couldn’t help but smirk. This wasn’t just a new outfit. This was a declaration. "Let them look," I muttered to my reflection. "Let them all stare." I left my room and made my way to the academy, the sound of my boots echoing in the empty halls. My heart raced in ant

  • The Triplet's Bullied Mate   But I’m not the only one playing, am I?

Elowen's POV The tension in the air was thick as I made my way through the halls, my heels clicking against the marble floor. The whispers continued behind me, but I paid them no mind. My focus was on one thing only: the game I was playing, the plan I had set in motion, and the power I was slowly reclaiming for myself. Every move I made, every word I spoke—it was all a calculated step toward my ultimate goal. And today, I’d made a significant move. Ranon had been quiet ever since our encounter, his silence telling me everything I needed to know. The way he looked at me, the way his gaze lingered longer than it should have—he was intrigued, and that gave me the upper hand. As I turned the corner toward the courtyard, I saw him again. Ranon. This time, though, he was with his brothers. Alaric, Theron, and Kael were standing in a tight circle, their postures stiff and their conversations muted. But as soon as I entered the space, their heads turned. The moment I laid eyes on th

Elowen’s POV The sun was setting as I walked through the academy grounds, the golden light casting long shadows across the path. My thoughts were racing, but my mind kept returning to one single point: revenge. Everything had led to this moment, to the game I was about to play. No more hesitation. No more fear. It had been a day since I stood before the triplets, made my bold statement, and I could feel the change in the air. The tension was palpable, swirling around me like a storm ready to burst. The whispers had intensified, and I knew they were watching. But the look in their eyes now wasn’t one of control or superiority—it was uncertainty. And that... that felt damn good. As I made my way to the training grounds, I could hear their voices before I saw them. Ranon’s deep tone, Alaric’s mocking laughter, and Theron’s quiet words that I couldn’t quite make out. Elowen’s POV I stormed out of the academy, my thoughts a swirl of anger and determination. I couldn’t stand it anymore—the triplets, their arrogance, their smug faces. They didn’t understand what I was capable of. But I was about to make them. The path through the woods was familiar, almost comforting in a way. The thick trees shielded me from the world, and I welcomed the solitude. I needed to think, to plan my next move. I was done being the victim. It was time to take control of my own fate. As I approached the secluded cabin where my mother had stayed in hiding all these years, I felt an overwhelming surge of emotion. The resentment toward my father, the betrayal, the isolation—I felt it all. But I couldn’t afford to let those feelings overwhelm me now. I had a bigger purpose. I knocked three times on the heavy wooden door before it creaked open, and there she was—my mother. Her eyes, the same as mine, held a depth of wisdom and sorrow, but there was a quiet strength in them

Theron’s POV She left. I sat there, fists clenched, watching the door she had just walked out of. My wolf snarled inside me, furious, restless. Go after her. Stop her. Make her stay. But I didn’t move. Because I knew Elowen. I knew chasing her wouldn’t change anything. She was scared. Not of me. Not of what we had done. She was scared because last night hadn’t been a mistake. And she felt it, just like I did. I exhaled sharply, dragging a hand through my hair. My body still ached from the night before, the memory of her touch burned into my skin, into my bones. She had let me in. For the first time, she had let go of her hatred, her walls, everything. And now she was trying to pretend it didn’t mean anything. I cursed under my breath, standing up. I couldn’t just sit here. Not when I knew where she was going. Not when I knew why she was running. I dressed quickly, throwing on a shirt and pulling on my boots. • The Triplet's Bullied Mate   Is this really happening?

Elowen's POV The kiss deepened, igniting a fire that coursed through my veins. Theron’s hands roamed my back, pulling me against him, and I could feel the strength in his muscles as he held me close. The world beyond us was a distant echo, fading into nothingness as we lost ourselves in each other.“Is this really happening?” I murmured against his lips, the words barely escaping as I surrendered to the moment.“Yes,” he breathed, his voice thick with urgency. “And it’s everything I’ve wanted.” I shivered at the intensity in his gaze, the way it bore into me like he was seeing straight through to my soul. “But what if we get caught?” My heart raced, torn between exhilaration and fear. “Let them catch us,” he said, his eyes lighting up with mischief. “Let them see that we’re not afraid anymore.” His confidence was intoxicating, and I felt myself leaning into it, a part of me craving the defiance. “You’re reckless,” I replied, my voice playful despite the weight of my uncertainty.

Elowen’s POV I didn’t stop him. I should have. I should have shoved him away, reminded him of who he was—who I was. But I didn’t. Instead, I let him kiss me. His lips were warm, coaxing, drawing me in like a tide I couldn't fight. His hands slid up my arms, one settling at my waist, the other tangling in my hair, pulling me closer—closer than I should have let him. A shiver ran down my spine, but it wasn’t from fear. It was from the way he kissed me, slow yet consuming, as if he was memorizing the shape of my lips, the taste of my skin. And I let him. I let him. I melted into him before I could think, before I could remind myself why this was wrong, why I should pull away. Because right now, none of that mattered. Right now, there was only the way his fingers gripped my waist, the way his breath mixed with mine, the way his heartbeat pounded against my chest like a silent confession. I want you. I could feel it in every touch, every desperate press of his l

Wanting it.The worst part? I had felt safe in his arms. Just for a second.I let out a sharp breath, shoving open the door to the nearest empty classroom. I needed to think. But I didn’t stop.Elowen.She was in danger.I shoved open the main doors, stepping out into the crisp morning air. • The Triplet's Bullied Mate   No wonder he wanted her dead.

Theron’s POV The words blurred for a moment as I tried to process what I was seeing. Promised to the Nightbane bloodline. Not just as a mate— But as a queen. My pulse thundered as I flipped through the pages, searching for more. The records were old, some sections nearly faded beyond recognition, but the truth was undeniable. Elowen’s lineage wasn’t just powerful—it was sacred. A true She-Alpha. A ruler by birthright. A direct threat to my father’s reign. And he had tried to erase her. No wonder he destroyed her pack. No wonder he wanted her dead. If Elowen had grown up knowing who she truly was—if she had been raised to claim her throne—she could have united the remaining Whitefangs and taken control of everything. She could have challenged the Nightbanes. She could have won. My father had always been ruthless, always willing to eliminate anyone who stood in his way. But this— This wasn’t just a strategic move. This was fear. He had been afraid of

  • The Triplet's Bullied Mate   There is no fixing this, Theron.

Theron’s POV I found her behind the academy, in the secluded garden where the scent of damp earth and moonflowers filled the night air. She sat on a stone bench, her head bowed, her shoulders shaking as muffled sobs tore through her. The sight of her—Elowen, the girl who had just sworn to destroy me—completely broken—made something sharp twist inside my chest. I had never seen her like this. She was always fire, always defiance, always ready to fight the world with her sharp tongue and sharper claws. But now? She looked small. And it killed me. I swallowed hard, stepping closer. My boots crunched against the gravel path, but she didn’t move, didn’t even lift her head. “Elowen.” Her breath hitched, but she didn’t look up. “Go away, Theron.” I didn’t. I sat beside her instead, leaving just enough space between us that she wouldn’t feel cornered. Silence stretched between us, thick and heavy. The only sound was the uneven rhythm of her breathing, the quiet sniffle
