‘I’m right here my angel,’ says Gunner through the link and it relaxes me.

‘Do not intervene,’ I reply as I turn my attention back to the garden.

I am glad I told him to keep back because the next thing I know Hank brushes his hand up my arm and sniffs at my neck.

“I could be ten times the mate to you than Gunner. Let me show you Katerina,” he whispers as he goes to kiss my neck.

I do not move as I let my powers flow through me and vines snake up to his neck. More break through the ground and bind his wrists behind his back while others force him to kneel. I don’t even glance behind me as I continue to attend to the garden.
