Debbie looked at Greta, who stood there unsure, in disbelief. She forced a smile and asked, "Greta, how did you come here?"

Greta stepped out of the shadows, staring at Debbie with a gloomy expression, her body trembling with anger.

As best friends for more than a decade, just one expression was enough for Debbie to know that Greta must have heard the entire conversation between her and Patricia earlier.

"Greta, you misunderstood. Patricia..." Debbie's words were cut short as Greta rushed over, gripping her arms tightly and angrily asking.

"Debbie, is what she said true?"

Debbie's arms were hurting from Greta's grip, and her face twisted in pain.
