Exiting the elevator, Patricia headed to the doctor's office, while Martin went straight to the ward.

They went in opposite directions.

Just as Patricia reached the office, she overheard colleagues discussing, “Have you heard? Debbie has mental issues now; she’s been committed to the Athens Mental Hospital.”

Another female colleague incredulously asked, “Is that true or just a rumor?”

The male doctor with glasses declared, “Of course it’s true, it’s been on the news. How do you not know! The Watson family had her taken to Cambria Hospital, where a senior psychiatrist from the mental health department issued the diagnosis in person.”

The female doctor sighed deeply, “Think about her. She's beautiful, she’s the Watson family heiress, educated with advanced degrees, and yet she didn’t cherish any of it. She did all sorts of wrong and now has come to this end.”
