Pull The Trigger

I waited and Waited I'm pretty sure it was about 30 minutes or so. My face was dripping water, it was nowhere close to be sweating.

I was jolting in fear and the hairs on my skin where alert.

When the door started opening I felt as if I was in a tunnel and now I can see the light.

But I was welcomed by a gun in front of me. That time my entire nervous system froze. His smile was so cold.

“So this is where you are hiding, Mrs. Carter?” There he was, Right in front of me with a gun against my forehead. A man with an evil grin.

I couldn't even lift my arms and shoot with the gun My Husband gave to me but instead I just looked at him.

I heard the gun clicking and I shut my eyes.“Please… get it over with.” I whispered.

BANG!

I felt blood shear across my face. There was sudden silence and I wondered is Heaven really this quiet?

I open my eyes, I was exactly eye to eye with that man but he was different, he looked different. He fell and I gasped.

“Are you okay?” I heard a familiar voice.
