CHAPTER 1.1

Isaiah’s Point of View

Today is the resumption of the classes. We had our 1-month sembreak and it’s time to go back to school. Hello f*ckin’ second semester! Be good for us!

I’m currently driving my Range Rover car. I came to school late but it’s okay. I don’t care. They should adjust.

Nasa labas palang ako ng school ay nakikita ko na ang mga students na excited mag-aral like what the f*ck? They prioritize their studies so much. What a pity.

Since nandito na ako sa school, bumaba na ako sa aking car and my friends greeted me.

“Yo man? Sup?” Kervin said. He raised his right hand and we do a high five.

“I’m perfectly fine” I answered.

“How about you guys?” I added while I’m fixing my stuff.

“My vacation is so freakin’ great!” Israel said while his eyes are shining.

“Great because you do all day is smoking and drinking alcohol” Jhay sarcastically said.

“No man! I’m just relaxing and getting away from the stress I felt before the sem break” Israel explained.

“Relaxing my ass,” Anthony said and he started walking. I’m finally done fixing my stuff and I closed my car and we followed Anthony.

“Israel share me what you got,” I put my arms on his shoulder.

“Later!” He answered while he was looking at his bunch of girls.

“So are you looking again for other girls huh?” I asked and smiled.

“No way bro! I’m just waiting for someone!” and he winked at me.

I remember something while we are walking. Dito kami unang nagkakilala. Dito kami unang nagka-usap. Dito ko siya niligawan...

Flashback

“What the f*ck? Can you please look on your way” I said in annoyed voice.

A girl looked at me while she’s raising her brows on me. “What? Ikaw nga hindi tumitingin sa dinadaanan mo kaya nabangga mo ako! And now you’re the one who’s angry?” Sagot ng babaeng nakabangga saakin.

“Do you know who you are talking to?” I said seriously.

She fixed her hair and looked at me sassily. “And do you know who is me?” She asked. I looked on her from head to toe. She’s a piece of shit.

I turned around and I started walking again but a thing happened.

“What the f*ck? Are you insane?” I asked in a more irritated voice. Nakita ko siyang patuloy na naglalakad while she’s smirking. She poured me a water that’s why I’m wet.

“Hey?” I shouted but she didn’t listen to me.

“You bitch!” I shouted again and this time she stopped walking and turned around.

“What did you say?” she asked boldly.

“You’re a f*cking bitch! A piece of shit” I said while wiping my uniform using my handkerchief.

*PPPPNNNNNG*

“Don’t ever call me a bitch again. You’re the wrong one. You didn’t even know how to apologize. What a jerk!” She said and she left with her friends.

I touched my face. W-what? A girl slapped me?

“What a burn, Dude!” Israel said while he’s laughing.

“Can you please stop?” I said and he stopped laughing. Her slapped is painful because of too much force and pressure.

“I won’t forget this day...” I said and we continued walking.

We entered our classroom and the teacher is already here. I didn’t mind the teacher and I entered our room without any greetings.

“Mr. Cabello, you’re late,” The teacher said while I’m sitting in my armchair.

“I know,” I said while I’m fixing myself. Hindi na ako nakapag-palit ng damit dahil mas male-late aking klase.

“What a rude attitude,” the teacher said in a high tone.

“Sorry Ma’am we’re late” Jhay greeted with a bow. My other friends bow too.

“You may enter. But you Mr. Cabello, go out on this room!” the teacher shouted.

“You’ll not giving me a consideration huh?” I said in a boastful voice.

“Consideration about what?”

I sighed deeply. “A girl poured me a water that’s why we’re late. Can you please stop complaining? Pasalamat ka pinasukan pa kita kahit boring ang subject mo”

I saw an annoyance on the teacher’s face.

“Go out!” now she shouted at me again. Really?

“But why?” I asked bravely. My classmates looked at me as if I did something wrong.

“Because of your disrespectful manner. Go to the principal office”

“For your f*cking information, we pay you with our own money. Without us, baka wala ka nang mapakain sa pamilya mo” I said.

“Yes you were paying us pero hindi kasama sa trabaho namin na makatanggap na pambabastos especially sa student like you na patapon. Kaya kitang ibagsak sa isang iglap” Sagot nito dahilan upang magpantig ang aking tainga.

“What did you say?” I stood up because of what I heard.

“Go to the principal’s office you kiddo”

“What if I don’t want? What you’re going to do?”

“Then I will fail you and you couldn’t graduate.” Matapang na sagot niya, Woah.

Kervin looked at me at pinapalabas na niya ako.

“Dude, don’t make any scenes. This might affect your good moral” He whispered. Nainis ako kaya tumayo na ako. Nakita kong nakatingin sa aking mga kaklase ko.

“Why are you looking at me, mother f*ckers?” I said and I left the classroom.

Since I don’t want to talk to the principal again, I decided to head on our favorite spot here in school. This place is our tambayan.

I opened my bag and look for my cigarettes. I light it up and start smoking...

This school is f*cking annoying. Binabayaran namin ang bawat staffs so we have rights to do what we want. If ako ang maging president ng school na ito, I will change the school rules

and implement an extraordinary rule.

“You know what, mag-aral ka nalang kaysa magbulakbol. You’re just wasting your chance to study in one of the most prestigious school” I heard a voice at hinanap ko kung saan ito nanggaling. I saw a girl. The girl who slapped me earlier.

“You know what, because of you that’s why I’m here” I said while smoking.

“Wow bakit parang kasalanan ko pa? Bakit ka kasi nandito at wala sa prinicipal’s office?” She asked.

“Can you please mind your own f*cking business. Get out on my sight before I do something dangerous on you!” I said in an arrogant voice. Lumapit ito saakin at kinuha ang sigarilyong hinihithit ko at hinithit niya ito. Pagkatapos ay tinapon niya ito at nilapit niya ang kaniyang mukha saakin.

“What dangerous thing?” She asked in a seducing voice.

Tila ba’y naakit ako at nag-init ang buong mukha ko kaya tumawa siya.

“Guy’s weakness as what I thought” She said while laughing and then she left me alone.

I came back to reality and I headed to principal’s office.

End of Flashback

I was brought back to reality when I saw Mr. Gregorie- the principal of this school.

“Long time no see, Isaiah” He greeted me

“Good Morning Sir” I greeted back while smiling.

“How’s your vacation?” He asked.

“It’s alright, Sir” I answered.

“Send my regards to your dad” He said while tapping my shoulders.

“I will”

“Okay boys study well ha. This is your last semester in this school! Do your best for your future” Pangaral ni Sir. Gregorie sa mga kaibigan ko.

“We will, Sir!” Naka-ngiting sagot naman ni Anthony.

“Okay go your class! You will be late!” And the principal left. Naglakad na uli kami papunta saaming classroom for our first subject.

Nakapasok na kami sa aming classroom at nakita namin na lahat ay naka-upo na ngunit wala pang teacher.

“What’s up d*ckheads?!” Israel greeted.

“Language please” The teacher arrived and we take our seats. I noticed she was with a girl.

“Good Morning class! Welcome to our second semester. I hope you enjoyed your vacation well. Today I’m going to introduce to you your new classmate.” The teacher said.

“Ohhh! New girl! She’s cute!” Israel said.

“I’m Kiara Delavin Agustin. You can call me Kiara!” The girl introduced in an innocent voice.

“Where school do you came from?” Lucresia asked

“I came from a public school in our barangay” she answered in a shy voice.

“Why did you transfer?” Arsin asked.

“Because someone offered me a scholarship here” She answered again.

“What strand you took before you transfer here? Are you an intelligent person or a slow learner?” Isabella asked and I noticed the transferee being offended by the questions.

“I am a HUMSS Student before and I want to continue it here. I can’t say I’m intelligent by I’m responsible” She explained.

“Whatever” Lucresia said and she rolled her eyes.

“Girls can you please stop interrogating her? Such a disrespectful welcome for her” Kervin said.

“Absolutely correct!” Israel said while smiling.

“Oo nga girls. You should welcome her in a warm way. Don’t show your true colors immediately” the teacher said.

“Kiara you may take Jianna’s seat there” sabi ng guro sabay turo sa isang bakanteng upuan.

“NO WAY!” Papa-upo na sana ang babae nang bigla akong sumigaw. Nagsi-tinginan saakin ang lahat.

“Why, Mr. Cabello?” Teacher asked me.

“Because that’s Jianna’s arm chair” I said a lower voice.

“I know it’s still fresh for all of you but it’s time to move on. Let her seat there”

Wala na akong nagawa kundi manahimik nalang. Nakita kong umupo na ang babae sa upuan ni Jianna.

“What the f*ck bro! Don’t let her seat on Jianna’s arm chair!” Israel whispered but I ignored it.

Buong time ng aming subject ay hindi ako nakapag-focus. Hindi ako nakinig saaming teacher. Tila ba’y may bumabagabag saakin. Tila bang hindi ko pa rin matanggap ang nangyari...
