Chapter 54

Arnold was getting more anxious, and he clenched his jaws in an effort to calm himself, but it wasn't working.

The clock dinged, interrupting him, and he turned his back to look at it.

He closed his eyes and hissed. It had been an hour now and still no sign of Lexa.

His eyes drifted back to the window pane, and he couldn't believe he had been standing and watching the rain for one hour straight.

Arnold didn't even cared about that, and now he thought of what to do since Lexa wasn't back.

He hated to admit the truth right now, but he guessed Lexa was truly missing.

She hasn't been back for six hours and that only means one thing.

Immediately, Arnold heard quickened steps, and he turned his head to the direction of where the sound was coming from.

Anatalia rushed forward with a swollen face, and it appeared she was in tears coupled with a frenzy look.

" Prince Arnold, she still isn't back!"

She choked out and covered her face with her palms.
