36. Terminate

Nevea woke up feeling sore all over her body. She sat and began massaging her body with her eyes still closed.

“Good morning, Sparta.”

Zach’s voice instantly made jumped from the bed in a hurry. Her eyes darted left and right, observing the room that wasn’t hers. “Why am I not in my room?” She inquired while looking down, only to find that she wore an oversized black t-shirt. “Did you change my clothes?”

“Don’t you remember what happened last night?” Zach questioned back as he dapped the towel to his wet hair.

“Remember what?” Nevea put her hands on her waist, trying to mask her anxiousness by appearing to be more confident in her stance.

Zach’s head tilted to the left, and his eyes stared at Nevea, pondering whether she was acting or not. In the end, he shook his head and said, “Forget it.”
