Chapter 04

Axel who suddenly stopped the car immediately shocked Mrs. Anna and Mr. Casey.

“Albert, why did you stop the car suddenly?” asked Mr. Casey.

Axel leaned back slowly into the car seat. Suddenly his body became so weak that he finally fainted.

It had all happened because he had entered a state of extreme panic and fear.

He was very afraid that his life would end in prison and suffer forever for stealing his brother's identity.

“Gosh! Albert!” Mrs. Anna immediately panicked when she saw Axel suddenly pass out for no reason like that.

Mr. Casey and Mrs. Anna then brought Axel back to the hospital.

They also informed Bella about what happened to Albert and Axel.

Upon arrival at the hospital, doctors and nurses immediately treated Axel. Meanwhile, Mr. Casey and Mrs. Anna went to see Albert.

“Axel,” called Mr. Casey and Mrs. Anna simultaneously and immediately hugged Albert tightly.

They feel very grateful to God for giving a miracle for Albert to wake up from his coma and go through his critical period.

Therefore they overflowed their happiness in Albert's arms.

Eliza who had been there all along immediately cried with joy because she felt the happiness her future in-laws were feeling.

“Thank God,” Mr. Casey sobbed. “Thank you for giving my Son a chance to keep him alive.”

“Axel, how are you feeling now, dear?” asked Mrs. Anna while gently stroking Albert's forehead. “Is there any part of your body that hurts?”

Since earlier, Albert kept silent staring at his father and mother. It made Mrs. Anna and Mr. Casey suddenly strange.

“Eliza, what happened to Axel? Why has he been silent ever since we came?” asked Mr. Casey.

Eliza took a deep breath for a moment then answered, “The doctor said Axel has amnesia due to a severe collision to the head. Maybe he hit a rock in the sea. So, that makes Axel not remember all of us.

You two need not worry. Axel's amnesia only lasts a while.

The doctor said Axel would get his memory back, but of course, no one knows when that time will come.”

Mr. Casey and Mrs. Anna stare at each other after hearing that Albert has amnesia.

They must have been shocked by the news. However, they didn't think much of it.

In essence, Albert who had recovered from his critical period was enough to make them calm and happy.

Meanwhile.

Bella was sitting next to the bed where Axel was. She had been there for ten minutes.

Not long after that, the moment Bella had been waiting for arrived. Axel slowly opened his eyes.

“Honey, you've finally woken up. The doctor said you fainted because you were so panicked.

What exactly are you thinking about right now that makes you panic and faint?”

Axel suddenly looked at Bella with complete astonishment because Bella called him honey. Even though Albert had woken up from the coma.

Axel thinks he should be hated by everyone now and taken to jail because Albert has exposed the truth.

However, everything still seems to be going according to his plan.

“It's fine if you don't want to tell me about your troubles. Maybe you need some time to cool off.

For now, there is something far more important for us to discuss, namely Axel, your little brother.

He has amnesia and doctors can't say when he will regain his memory.”

Axel's panic and fear immediately disappeared after hearing the news.

Now he could sigh calmly again because things were still safe for him.

Axel slowly shifted into a sitting position.

“Come on, let's meet Axel!”

“Are you feeling any better?”

“Yes, honey, I'm fine. You don't need to worry.”

“Okay. Let's go there!”

They then went to the room where Axel was being treated.

“Albert, how are you, Son? Are you alright?” asked Mrs. Anna who immediately approached Axel when he and Bella arrived in the room.

“I'm fine, Mom. Earlier I suddenly remembered my accident with Axel which made me feel very scared remembering it. Maybe that's what knocked me out.”

Mrs. Anna breathed a sigh of relief that Axel was fine. “Thank goodness you're okay.” She then looked at Albert. “Axel, this is Albert, he is your older twin Brother”

Axel slowly stepped closer to Albert and gently touched his brother's face.

Suddenly her tears dripped. Suddenly he felt very guilty and sinned against Albert for stealing his life.

After that, he hugged Albert tightly and burst into tears of guilt.

Her family thought he was crying tears of joy to be reunited with Albert. When in reality it is not like that.

“Axel, is it true what the doctor said that you don't remember your family because you have amnesia?”

Albert slowly nodded his head.

“It's fine, you will regain your memory. So you don't need to worry.

Welcome back, my little Brother. Hopefully, God will always be with health and safety for us.”

Albert smiled. Although he now does not remember anything. However, he felt very happy when he saw that he had a very complete family who cared for him.

Axel of course only felt guilty for a few minutes.

Not long after that, an idea emerged in Axel's mind to kill Albert so he could still live happily as Albert Steven.

“Please enjoy your time now, Albert,” said Axel in his heart. “Soon, I will obliterate you from this world. Of course, I will not let you live because your existence is a danger and a threat to me.”
