Axel was still reeling over what happened at Reese’s house. He couldn’t contain his emotions anymore, and he needed to find out why he was feeling that way. He needed to find out why his heart beat uncontrollably fast at the thought of her. He needed to find out why rage was threatening to consume his entire being at the thought of her being with another man at that moment—two emotions he shouldn’t be feeling.

He needed answers. So, he decided to talk to Luke. Perhaps he might have answers to what wasn’t clear to him.

Turning his phone’s screen on, he called Luke.

"Hey, man." Luke said when he picked up the phone. "What’s up?"

"I was making out with Reese in my house when she suddenly received a call. She put a stop to what we were doing and said she had to go home. When I drove her to her house, I met a man there. I believe that’s the reason she left my place for hers. Do you know the worst thing? She fucking sent me away just to be with that man, and I am fucked up right now. I d
