Author's POV

"What red thi......before Ryan complete his words, a gunshot sound came out from the parking lot, and Elena fell on his chest...

"Elena, baby." With his shaking hands, Ryan put his hands on her back and felt something dripping on his hand. Something cold liquid thing.

Ryan raised his hand and saw his hand was covered with blood.

"El....Elena" Ryan whispered and made her look at him. He saw her eyes were closed

Ryan fell to the ground. He put Elena's head on his lap and kept looking at her like a broken man. Tears were rolling down his cheeks.

The security guards were firing at the enemy. Some of them surrendered around their boss to protect him from bullets.

Ryan felt his world come to an end. He doesn't know what is going on around him. He just knows the person who barely knows him took the bullet for him.

Ryan cupped her face with his shaking hands.

"Elena, wake up, please. Please open your eyes" Ryan begged
