Chapter 18

Author's POV

Lawyer, Robert Jones found died in a car accident last night. Police found his burnt body near his car. His driver was also dead. He has been shot.

Police suspect it was a murder...

Ryan kept looking at the news with shock.

"What the hell? Any information about the killer?" Ryan asked his PA.

"No sir. There is no information about the killer. The person killed them in cold blood" Stephen said.

"What should I do with this girl now?" Ryan asked himself

"Sir, I think the girl is Mr. Jack Anderson's daughter, " Stephen said

"What are you saying, Stephen? No, it can't be true. Jack Anderson has one daughter. Her name is Linda Anderson" Ryan said to him.

"Sir, indeed he has one daughter and she is Linda Anderson. Elena Anderson. Jack Anderson's dad adopted Elena when she was just a few years old" Stephen said.

"Then why did Jack Anderson never let anyone know about her?" Ryan asked

"The answer is still unknown sir. Robert used to visit Elena Jack's dad's lawyer. Before Jack's dad died he gave all the responsibilities of Elena to Robert. Robert used to love Elena just like his daughter" Stephen said.

"Why did Jack's father Hoper give all responsibilities of Elena to his lawyer when his son was alive and capable of taking care of? Isn't it odd? And I know I am being rude but I think Elena has some problems. She behaves like a kid" Ryan said

"Elena Anderson is an abnormal person. She has some mental person" Stephen said and Ryan got shocked.

"Sir, I have told our detective to collect all information about her. Hopefully, you will get them soon" Stephen said

"I want to know about Elena's real parents too. And do this work in secret" Ryan said to him

"Sir, what about Robert's funeral?' Stephen asked him.

"We will attend it. Robert is very important to Elena" Ryan said and disconnected the call.

Ryan was sitting down on the couch when something came in front of him...

They gave me my medicine in juice every day," Elena said.

"Every day?! Are you sick?" Ryan asked her.

"I don't know. But they call me many things" Elena said.

"What things?" Ryan asked her.

"Bitch, whore, mad, ugly, orphan and...and...many things," Elena said innocently.

"Also you know they pinch me very hard. I told them I would tell everything to my prince then he will punish them" Elena said making him both shocked and confused.

"I am sorry sir. The stoppered slipped from my daughter's hand. I am sorry for it. Please forgive my daughter

"Did they abuse her? But how can someone abuse such an innocent girl like her?" Ryan muttered to himself when he heard a loud sound with a scream from upstairs.

"Elena" Ryan muttered and ran towards his room.

When Ryan entered the room he found his blanket had fallen on the ground but Elena was not anywhere.

"Elena, where are you?" Ryan shouted

"Prince, I am here under the stupid blanket" Came a cute voice from under the blanket.

Ryan was frozen hearing this. He didn't know he would laugh or get angry.

He bent down and picked up the blanket with her then put her on the bed.

Elena removed the blanket from her face and glared at it.

Ryan found this cute.

"Are you okay?" Ryan asked her.

Elena looked at him and spoke up, "This blanket is bad. I don't want this"

"Okay. I will change it. Now get up. You need to freshen up. We have to go somewhere" Ryan said.

"Okay," Elena said and ran inside the washroom.

Ryan chuckled when his phone started ringing.

Ryan picked up the call and stood in front of the large window.

After some time

"Keep up updating, Stephen" Ryan said after a long conversation.

"I will sir," Stephen said and Ryan disconnected the call.

Ryan put the phone in his pocket and looked out the window when he heard the angelic voice.

"Prince"

Ryan turned and got amused. Elena was wearing his clothes. His long white shirt and his black pants. His white shirt allowed him to see every part of her through it. Ryan shook his head when Elena took a step towards him and the next second Ryan's eyes widened in shock.

Because the pants fell. His pants were too big for her little waist.

Ryan gulped being nervous. It was the first time when he felt nervous in front of a girl.

"It was big. Very big" Elena said looking at him cutely

"It's okay...I meant you don't need to wear this. The shirt is big enough for you. And I have ordered a dress for you. It will arrive very soon" Ryan said

"Okay," Elena said and picked up the pants. Ryan turned to the other side immediately.

"Prince, I am hungry," Elena said.

"I am going to get something for you" Saying this Ryan ran away from there like he had been waiting for the chance to run.

When Ryan came downstairs he was breathing heavily.

"Stop behaving like a teenager in love. Girls only love your fame and money. Without your fame and money, you are nothing to them" Ryan's mind shouted at him.

"Sir, your breakfast is ready. Do you want to have it in your room or should I set the dining table?" The cook asked him.

"Bring it to my room," Ryan said.

The cook nodded at him and left from there.

Ryan was about to go back when he heard someone enter his mansion. Ryan turned and saw the security guard whom he ordered to bring a dress for Elena.

"Sir, here is the dress," The security guard said and handed him the bag.

"Thank you," Ryan said and left from there.

"Elena, here is your dress" Ryan entered his room and handed her the bag.

"Thank you," Elena said and ran inside the washroom again.

Ryan chuckled again and sat down on a couch. Soon the cook entered the room and put the food tray beside the bed.

Ryan started checking emails.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Elena was trying hard to reach her hand to the zipper. She was unable to close the zipper.

"Bad zipper," Elena said angrily and came out from the washroom.

"Prince" Elena called Ryan.

"Yes," Ryan put down his phone.

"Zipper. I can't close it" Elena pouted sadly.

Ryan smiled and spoke up, "Come here. I will help you"

Elena smiled and turned to the other side.

Ryan was about to pull up the zipper when his eyes stuck on her bare back. There were some scars on her back. All of them have belt marks.

Ryan fisted his hand in anger and pulled up the zipper.

"Thank you, prince. You are the best" Elena said and kissed his cheek again.

"Let's have breakfast," Ryan said and Elena nodded.

After they had breakfast they left from there.

When Ryan reached the place, he stopped his car. Ryan gets out of the car and opens the door for Elena.

Elena gets down and holds Ryan's hand in fear of seeing many people.

"Why we are here?" Elena whispered

Ryan sighed and looked at her.

"We are here to say goodbye to your Robert uncle," Ryan said.

"Goodbye? Is he going somewhere?" Elena asked.

"Yes. He is going far away from here" Ryan said and entered the graveyard.

And on the other side

"Where the hell is your daughter? Don't dare to give the lame excuse that she ran away. We don't mind taking your other daughter with us" One of the buyers said.

Jack gulped in fear.

"Sir, give us another day. I will find her. Believe me for the last time" Jack said in fear.

"We don't care about this" The person shouted when Jack's phone started ringing.

"Put your phone on the loudspeaker," One of them said.

Jack nodded picked up the call and put it on the loudspeaker.

"Sir, I have found her," Jack's man said.

Jack sighed in relief hearing this.

"Bring the bitch here right now" Jack shouted

"We can not sir. Even if we use our all power we can not reach her" He said.

"What the hell you are saying?" Jack shouted.

"She is with Ryan Stone Knight. You know Ryan Stone Knight always stays in high security. We can't go through his security" He said making Jack shocked to his core.
