Zaya POV
A pounding at the front door stopped Evander from taking one more stroke. “Attack! Commander. We are being attacked!
The pounding became louder and more frequent. I couldn’t believe my ears.
Our bodies already began to untangle. The heated passion between us quickly cooled as the banging continued. “Did they just say we’re being attacked?” I asked pulling the sheet over my naked body.
“Get up and get dressed.” Evander was already on his feet and putting on pants. His movements were fast.
I ran to my room and threw on a shirt, pants, and tennis shoes. By the time I was coming out of my room, Evander was already at the bottom of the stairs.
