I was never a morning person. My wolf preferred to be active at night, for whatever reason. Since fully transforming, I was more like an owl rather than a werewolf.
I always woke up at nine or ten o'clock in the morning. Especially today, after a night of wild and passionate pleasure with Brianna, I just woke up at 11, when the sun was already high.
When I couldn't find her on the bed next to me, I raised my body with a cry of disappointment. Her nightgown from the night before folded at the side of the bed rather than scattered on the floor.
