Unable to return to the city as the sky grew dark and started raining, Jade had no choice but to spend the night at the club.

She and Caelan enjoyed the rain and chatted, their intimacy drawing envy from those around them. Amidst these gazes, however, was a hateful glare directed straight at Jade.
