Considering the number of movies that feature possession and exorcism compared to the number of films about murdering via a chainsaw, one would easily say that the first option is indeed such a frightening idea for many.
However, not all possession story ends tragically. There are a few that manage to fight their way through it via their Faith and didn't just survive the incident...
