The Alliance

As they arrived at Nate's mansion, the maid greeted them as they entered.

"I will leave later, I need to go to South Pack to visit some business investors there," Nate said. Beatrice did not respond. She's preoccupied with the plan that didn't work earlier.

That was supposed to be her chance to kill Nate, but because of his Beta, her plan was ruined. Beatrice suddenly looked in Rayver's direction. Her madness ran all over her body as she saw how Rayver looked at her. She knew he had noticed her action earlier. And she knew that Rayver would know her plan with one wrong move. 

She needs to be careful when Rayver is around. 

"Hey, Margarett, I'm talking to you." Nate waved his hand to Beatrice's face to get her attention.

"What?" Beatrice asked as she didn't hear what Nate said.

"I'm informing you that I will leave later because I need to visit some business investors on South Pack." He said, Beatrice just nodded at him. She doesn't care about him, so even if he informs her or not, she wouldn't care. All she cares about is how she will get rid of Rayver.

"You will not say anything? Only nods?" Nate asked, so Beatrice looked at him.

"What do you want me to say?" Beatrice asked. Nate's eyebrows frowned. "Oh, good luck, my dear husband. I hope you enjoy your business trip later, don't worry about me because I can handle myself." Beatrice said sarcastically. 

Nate rolled his eyes and walked away in front of her while Rayver stood and looked at her.

"What you looking at?" Beatrice asked him. Rayver just took a deep breath before he followed Nate.

As Beatrice was left alone. She sits on the sofa and leans against the soft side of it.

She looked at the ceiling and took a deep breath. Now she's thinking of creating a new plan and will include Rayver to get rid of. 

As she was thinking about her next plan her phone suddenly rang, she took it and saw that Darwin was calling. She rolled her eyes and answered the call.

"Why did you block me from communicating using a mind link?" Darwin asked as Beatrice answered the call.

"What do you want?" She asked, honestly, she didn't want to talk to him now, after their last conversation before her wedding.

"I miss you," Darwin said, she took a deep breath and smiled a little bit. Her heart raced like a car because of its fast heartbeat. He really knows how to tame her.

"Can we meet? Let's talk, baby." As Darwin said those lines, she bit her nails to stop shouting in happiness. Finally, Darwin wanted to talk to her. She knew that he really loved her; it was just that sometimes his pride took over him. 

"Okay, where are you?" Beatrice tried to calm herself down as she asked him.

"At our meeting place, baby," Darwin answered, she immediately hung up the call and stood up on the sofa, got her car key, and left the mansion.

A minute later, she arrived at their meeting place, and she saw Darwin leaning over his car with a cigarette in his hand, she immediately got off the car and walked to him with a smile, as Darwin saw her, he threw his cigarette and kissed her lips with so much passion. 

"I miss you, baby," Darwin said in the middle of their kisses. He leaned his forehead on hers and smiled.

"Let's fix it, baby. I don't want to lose you." Darwin said. Beatrice nodded with a smile, she felt like she was floating in the air as she heard Darwin's words. 

Darwin kissed her once again and hugged her tightly.

"How's my baby?" Darwin asked.

"I am fine and missed you so much more," Beatrice said. She was so happy because of Darwin's actions. She never knew that Darwin would miss her.

"Did you already have a plan to get rid of Nate?" Darwin suddenly asked. He held Beatrice's face and looked at her eyes.

"Yes, I actually made it happen earlier, but…" Beatrice stopped as she remembered how Nate treated her nicely earlier and how his Beta got on her way to assassinate Nate.

"But what?" Darwin asked. 

"His Beta gets on my way. That's why my first plan didn't work." She said. Darwin smiled at her and touched her cheeks.

"I plan to assassinate Nate, but his Beta seems to know my plan." She added.

"Then we need to get rid of his Beta before Nate," Darwin said, so Beatrice's brows frowned.

"We?" She asked, Darwin smiled at her and nodded.

"Yes, we. From now on, I will help you build a plan on how to successfully kill Nate, Baby." Darwin said, so Beatrice stopped and laughed.

"What's with the sudden change of mind?" She asked; Darwin grabbed her waist and wrapped his hand around her.

"Well, I just realized you're important to me." He said, so her cheeks heated. "And  as for our last conversation, you told me about getting married and settled." He added and looked up at the sky. "And as far as I remember that I just laughed at you that time and told some shit about getting married and.." he looked earnestly into her eyes. "I am sorry, baby, for doing that. Believe me, these past few days, I realize that you were right." He said so Beatrice became speechless.

"I saw the ceremony that happened during your wedding with that man, and at that time, I realized that that should be me. I was supposed to be the one you marry, not him." Darwin said.

But she saw him smirk at her as he walked away that time. Does it mean Darwin was hurting during those times? 

"All I want now is to be with you for the rest of my life." Darwin Added, so Beatrice tearfully hugged him, she was waiting for this time. She always remains for Darwin to tell such words to her. 

"So I want to help you to build a plan of how you successfully kill Nate so that we can be with each other and get married." He added.

Beatrice looked at him with tears in her eyes.

"I love you," Beatrice said. Darwin smiles at her at hugging her.

"We're going to kill Nate."
