121. Cheering

Katie and Nora were on their way to the library. Katie’s mind was still swirling with emotions from the previous day’s events. She was trying to focus on her studies and forget about Andrew when he appeared out of nowhere.

“Katie, I need to talk to you,” Andrew said, his tone serious.

Katie’s eyes narrowed as she glared at him. “I’m not interested in anything you have to say, Andrew. Leave me alone.”

But instead of leaving, Andrew grabbed her hand. Nora stepped forward, ready to defend her friend. “Let her go, Andrew. She doesn’t want to talk to you.”

Andrew glanced at Nora, his expression hardening. “Stay out of this, Nora. This is between Katie and me.”

Katie struggled to free her hand from his grip, but Andrew was stronger. He pulled her towards the gymnasium, where the cheerleading practice usually took place. Nora followed closely, but Andrew shut the door in her face, leaving her outside.
