The next morning, Katie sat at the breakfast table with Lillian, Sebastian, Tristan, and Kat. The atmosphere was warm, filled with the usual chatter and clinking of utensils.

Sebastian noticed the bruise on Katie's hand and was shocked when he saw it, he decided to ask her. "Katie, what happened to your hand? Who hurt you?" he asked, concern etched on his face.

Katie quickly hid her hand under the table. "It was just an accident," she said, trying to sound casual.

Sebastian didn't look convinced. "Are you sure? It looks—"

"I'm fine, Dad. It was just an accident," Katie interrupted.

Lillian gently touched Sebastian's arm, signaling for him to stop questioning further. He nodded, reluctantly, and the conversation shifted back to lighter topics.

After breakfast, Katie grabbed her bag and walked out of the house, heading to school. Her mind was a whirl of emotions, but she tried to push them aside and focus on the day ahead.

Can't you see where you're going?" he shouted, his voice echoing through the cafeteria. "You're so stupid. I can't believe I even apologized to you. People like you don’t belong in high school—you belong in prison."He raised his hand, and for a moment, it looked like he was going to hit her. I have an important announcement to make. After much consideration, I have decided that we should partner with the Alfred family, especially since they are no longer associated with the Rojas Alvaro family."There was a murmur of surprise and interest around the table. Katie and Nora stood outside the gymnasium, gazing at the cheerleading squad practicing their routines. They had decided to join the cheerleading team to immerse themselves more in school activities and to hopefully shake off some of the negative experiences Katie had endured. As they walked over, their hearts pounded with a mix of excitement and nerves. The leader of the cheerleading squad, Mandy, spotted them immediately. Her face lit up with a calculated smile. Mandy was notorious for using her position to manipulate new members into doing her dirty work, and Katie and Nora seemed like perfect targets. "Well, well, look who decided to join us," Mandy said, sauntering over. "Katie, right? And Nora?" "Yeah, that’s us," Katie replied cautiously. "Great. We could always use some fresh faces. Just remember, if you don’t do exactly as I say, you won’t get a chance to be part of this squad. Understood?" Katie and Nora exchanged nervous glances but nodded in agreement. They knew Mandy

Katie had just returned from school, her bag slung over one shoulder, when Lilian called out to her from the kitchen. "Katie, can you come here for a moment?" Sebastian sighed as well, knowing this conversation was inevitable. "The contract is already signed, Lilian. If we call it off now, we’ll lose up to $10 billion. That will bring the company to its knees. Mr. Turner is certain this contract will double our benefits if it lasts long. They're both in highschool so they're likely to see each other and interact."
