While it was really nice to be invited to be a bridesmaid for Eve, I wasn’t as close to her as Aeryn was. I wasn’t as close as any of them were, actually. For Aeryn, it had been easy to fall back into the role of being dad and mom’s daughter, and she was already a sister to me, so becoming a sister to Airk and Argo wasn’t as hard either. She was perfect. Aeryn was like a mother to me, a sister, and a friend. She protected me and made sure my life was better than hers.
