Chapter 96: Sherry is Missing

Sherry returned to the city the next day. Isabella personally went to the station to pick her up. Sitting in the car, Isabella looked at Sherry's still somewhat weary and melancholic face and gently spoke, "Sherry, weren't you planning to stay for a few more days? Why did you come back so soon?"

The bright sunlight shone on Sherry's face, and she smiled slightly, "My mother, up in heaven, definitely wouldn't want to see me in such a state."

"Over these years, Nathan has been restricting me. I've only taken on roles I don't like and rarely held concerts. I don't want to continue disappointing my fans."
